Hey bro, is the car battery registration process necessary if I'm replacing the same wet/lead battery just with a different brand? My BMW and engine is the same as yours.

@@UnbiasedSports if it helps I went and got the same battery and had it registered .The guy who replaced my battery for me told me all new batteries need to be registered regardless if they are the same battery as your old one or not. If it's a new battery and is different in any way it'll need to still be registered but some coding will need to happen too. Go see someone who will register your battery as well. You'll need to pay a little more or it could be included in the price just ask around.

Can you do a video closing the boot? Heard these struts make it hard to shut the boot
Really, no difference. It's just a little more force to close it but it still feels normal.
The reason why you struggled to pull out the bulbs light is probably because over time, with the heat they produce, they end up melting slightly the plastic holding the electrical pins, and that will seal the and glue up the light. I had to break the one in my Dodge Durango by forcing it out, and the plastic clearly melted and sized up. So I decided to replace my BMW ones before they melt since bulbs heat so much compare to LED in general.
Oh no, in this case it wasn't nothing to do with that. It was just a hard angle to pull from. Nothing was burnt or melted. Even with the new ones I had to pull it after installing it because I had to check something, it was just extremely difficult to do so.

These are excellent and reliable lights and didn't have an effect on battery

I think the cheap ones shark fins u can buy are really ugly and too big. I bought shark fin from bwm F20 and trying to install this on my E87. What i can tell i need to trip and cut a bit of my original base antenna because its too big to fit under F20.
My one looks fine.

On the E87 08 plate, as far as I know they are not AGM.

solution is to buy used one from where ever so this way u will get original BMW. because new ones are from asia just wrong look and size .
No because originals are not made for the E87. Then you'd have to replace the part inside for the antenna, then you'd have to get good 3m sticker or something to hold it. Also, my one is not from Asia t's from Europe. The size is the same as the newer one series. I just showed you the difference in size of the Asian model.
did you had a problem with the leds when driving? in mine the leds go out after 15 sec when i push them on while driving.. any solution ? want to try other leds.. mabye the ones you have
I've had no issues with mine since I bought them.
Thank you for the explanations, I just checked the link from the ebay site, unfortunately the product is no longer in stock, on the other sites I only find the small size that does not fit in the antenna, you do not have ideas where I can find this article with the same dimensions, that means wider so that it fits in the antenna, thank you in advance.

It shouldn't because it's using 3m tape. You just have to be gentle how you take it off.

Hello friend Did you sand the white paint before painting the silver or you just painted over the white ? I heard that not sanding doesent adhere the paint right. Is the paint still good ?
I would have mentioned it if I did. No, I did not sand anything, I sprayed painted over the white. The paint is still good.
will this work on a bmw e87 2006? apparently it only works with 2007 and up :(
Yes it works with e87 2006 up. The e87 I did it on was a year 2005 and I had no issues with it.

I'm trying to fit one of these to e81 but radio mast base seems to wide for fin to go over it. Any ideas?
Basically you're putting a generic one that claims it fits on the e8x. It's not the right size. Go to the link I provided and get the one I got. I'm confident it should fit on yours otherwise just return it.

I'm planning to do a lot of mods and unfortunately I don't have the business radio on this E87 because it's the updated professional CD. But there are plenty of videos that can show you how to do this if you search for it.
