Not the most forgiving launch site I've seen.

So I’m a new paraglider so still learning, the first two paragliders seemed to wanna sit way to quickly right, feel like they should have been more patient, again new so might be wrong

Podle titulku jsem myslel ze to bude nejaky tvuj povestny sestrih sezony a ono je to jen sestrih jednoho dne :-D Kdyz se takhle nedari tak uz jsem si nekolikrat rikal jestli se na to nevykaslat uplne, ze mi to chce neco rict (jako ne takhle drsne, ale i jen 3 neuspesny start kdy se proste necitim dobre). Jednou uz jsem po 3 pokusech o start kdy se mi to vzdy zmuchlalo na zemi a foukalo trochu dost, se radeji odepnul a v klidu si sednul na 1/2 hodiny, ze se teprve pak rozhodnu jestli to ma vubec cenu pokracovat, jak clovek moc chce tak to tim vice nejde 🙂 A jinak je pravda ze obecne z tvych natocenych startu je, ze se otacis jeste kdyz mas kridlo tak 60-70 stupnu a uz bezis, jestli se preci jenom vice nesnazit o to vetsi zastaveni nad hlavou (ne vzdy to jde)

Ahoj, když jsi se díval na toto svoje video, jak jsi hodnotil své řešení vzniklé situace? Řešil bys ji znovu stejně nebo jinak/jak? Super základny na konec :-)

It's a bit weird to see this, knowing yor skill level from all your videos I've seen so far... When the wind is weak there is always the forward launch, they teach this in school, of course we don't like it but it comes in handy on these conditions. Second thought... it really seems to me you already take the "take off" decision when you pull the A's to inflate the wing and it's not very inspired to go "all in" when the glider is still under-inflated and not firmly above you... no surprise for the failed launch. If you can't find and acknowledge that split second when the wing is firm and stable above you - that's the moment of the takeoff decision - then you better put it down and try again. ( just my 2 cents... 😊 ) Anyway I didn't intend to criticize but just maybe to help you see a different pilot point of view, cheers!❤

Když se nedaří, tak pořádně. Tohle se může stát každému, nebylo to moc vidět při startu. Nakonec to skončilo dotočenou základnou, líp to dopadnout nemohlo :-)

Downwind always (!) ends before ground.

I'm still doing ground handling and learning to fly. I love a short video with a takeoff and landing so I can get real anxious sitting here in my chair and get used to the stress. I love that technique it's so hard to tell how far above the water you are. I'm very superstitious I heard there was sink over water sometimes and it could be 13 m a second. (Lol). I noticed what a nice wide flat turn you made over the water.
