this CPU is good for competitive gaming, it’s a cheap entrance to AM5 and you can upgrade to a 9800x3d later and almost double the fps in cs, valorant and fortnite competitive

Im upgrading from 2133 to 3600 ddr4. I have been getting stutters and drops in multiple games since last year since I had this same build. The only difference is my CPU is the non-F version. My new 3600 RAM comes tomorrow. Would it be worth it to send back to get ddr5 or iust to keep the 3600? I have a 60hz 4k screen

amd fanboys will never learn .. sad. i5 13400F is a very cool option for the rtx 4060ti/4070 i had many years my i7 7700K (oc 5ghz + delided ihs), but now in 2024 i had to change my whole setup, my CPU was a big bottleneck for newest games, the old i7 7700 was only 4 cores 8 threads so, now i doubled my performance with the i5 13400F (10cores/16threads), + AIO cooler (2 x 120mm fans) temps idle = 25-30 *C , gaming light games = 35-40 *C, gaming damanding games where the CPU usage goes above 70% like bf2042 = 45-49 *C. GREAT CPU, i can recommend it ! And the Asus B760m-a prime wifi D4 motherboard for it ! works so good 🍒
