That is a great song and you did a very good job covering it in this video and I think you have a pretty good voice, too! And I saw some of your comments about your great grandmother from the 1906 silent film on RUclips. I read through all the comments that you put down and she most certainly seems to be a very nice, brave and strong-willed lady! I wish I could’ve met her back when she was still alive but I know she passed away in 1988, 17 years before I was born as I was born in 2005. Hopefully she’s up in heaven now (or whatever it is that comes after death depending on one’s belief) having a happy and peaceful time there. I wonder what she would think of the world now as it has surely changed so much since 1988-both in good and bad ways. And she would’ve seen so much happen in her life too like the invention of the airplane in 1903-she would’ve been only eleven years old then give or take and she would’ve been only 20 years old or so when the Titanic sunk and she also would’ve witnessed so many other events-some good and some bad! It’s amazing how the internet can bring people together and to find someone here who knew her and is related to her, I think that’s just amazing! Rest in peace to Estelle Roy De Menditte born in 1892 one hundred and thirty one years ago as off writing this and to her husband too now I mentioned it, who I learned died in 1939 due to an illness, right? Hopefully there now back together again up there and got reunited with each other. That’s what I hope at least! And to know she lost him in 1939, it’s very sad and I’m sure that she was certainly greatly saddened by it, that’s for sure, but to know she kept moving forward, didn’t grow bitter due to that, and still was (from what I’ve read of your comments) a very nice and sweet person even into old age, I think that’s amazing and I feel like the world would be a much better place if more people were like her. And in old age she didn’t have to use a cane? That’s very impressive and good to hear but I do know that some say that kindness, happiness and living a honorable life can do good things for you so I’m not at all surprised! She certainly was very strong in that regard! I’m also guessing she was still in good health, too? Knowing that, I have a great deal of respect for her because I know life can get hard but knowing that she didn’t let that hurt her, I think requires a lot of strength and I want to congratulate her on that. She certainly seemed to have lived a very good life despite some of the stuff that happened to her that I’ve read. So, all in all, I may have never known her personally, I’m not related in any way to her or to you and I am just some guy on the internet but despite that, one thing I do know is that she holds a special place to me, regardless of me being completely unrelated to her. Lastly, I just wanted to ask as I wonder, what do you think Estelle would have thought of me? Despite me being completely unrelated and being born nearly two decades after her passing and living in a totally different country, I somehow feel like I had known her. She somehow seems close to me in other words. She’s not just some person in an old silent film to me if that makes sense. It’s kind of interesting too because I don’t think that she would have ever thought that some random person would be thinking about her some 35 years after her passing.
