any easier way is just go to terminal type in g++ (file name1).cpp (file name2).cpp then its gonna make an a.out file then do ./a.out EX g++ cars.cpp dogs.cpp

at 10:42 when you change the folder to mingw-64 g++ stopped appearing under the run dialog. I checked the folder and g++ isn't there do you know how to fix?

tyvm going into C/C++ settings fixed all my issues with "NO SUCH FILE"

A year later, and this is still helping folks out. Thank you dude. Another way to do it is to replace "${file}" in tasks.json with "${fileDirname}/*.cpp"

But this way you have to manually type every folder you are using to the tasks.json file. Now what if you have a large solution with many folders and files? there has to be a way to do it automatically
