The Big Mountain Hockey Conference, established in 2016, is an ACHA Men’s Division 2 conference, with the following member Universities: Colorado State University, MSU Denver, University of Colorado, University of Denver, University of Northern Colorado, and University of Wyoming. Our mission is to provide a first-class hockey experience for these student-athletes, and to represent each University with class and integrity. We strive to establish the highest level of competition, and generate a brand of hockey that is based on skill, speed, clean physical play and teamwork.

Our reputation is hosting key events that draw attention from around the country, and specifically the Men’s Division 2 West Region, including the largest Showcase in the country every MLK weekend - The Big Mountain Classic, and as frequent host for the ACHA Post-Season West Regionals.
