Has anyone ever seen a Ming where he wasn't drinking booze? I never have.

Sorry, but this recipe is over-complicated and significantly less healthful that the simple recipe I learned decades ago: Food process equal quantities of green pepper, bacon & celery. Pack the mixture onto whole clams in the half-shell and broil. You may say, is that bacon & fat be more healthful than butter? And the answer is yes! Softer fats like bacon fat, or chicken fat, have significantly less saturated fat than beef fat or butterfat. And, the bread crumbs are totally unnecessary...just a bunch of extra carbs that are not needed to hold the topping together.
