Melodie MC, is the artistname the rapper Kent Lövgren, born 26 juli 1970. He grow up in the small Swedish town called Sundsvall and he, together with his producer Statikk (his real name is Erik Svensson and today he goes under the artistname Eric S) is a part of the musicproduction collective Sidelake Productions.
1993 Melodie Mc and Statikk had there major international breakthrough when they released the song Dum Da Dum who became a huge success all over the world. The song was taken from the forthcoming album “Northland Wonderland” that came out the following year.
After the release of there first album the toured for almost a year all over the world. Back in 1995 they were finally returned to the studio and started recording there second album that went by the name “The Return”. The album turn out great and ones again Melodie Mc and Statikk had huge success with hits like “Give it up (for the Melodie)”, “Anyone out there” and “Climb any mountain”.

não conhecia essa banda , quando eu saia pra fazer compras , eu sempre tinha que voltar com um CD pra casa e na banca vi esse CD e comprei , acho que foi em meados de 99 ou alguma coisa . Comprei e amei as músicas . Infelizmente não se fazem dance como antes , anos 90 deve voltar com tudo ;
