I used to love this game to death, it was my coc@ine. I quit a year plus ago cause the game story and characters just turns me off, feel like they just want money, and the cheaters are galore once I got to gold.

The game was incredibly fun the first 2 years. The downward spiral was a slow but very big descent

Siege’s golden years are done and over, the current dev team has put the game in such a state that there is no way it returns to being fun. I’ve been playing since Y1S1, and honestly I completely understand cheaters, the game is so unfun to play normally that it’s just better to cheat. (It doesn’t excuse cheating it’s ubishits fault the game has become abysmal.) The dev team for siege too is so out of touch and out of line that it’s actually insane, then you have massive RUclipsrs over hyping/sucking off ubi and their middling seasons, giving people a false impression on how the game is doing. Year 9 so far has been the worst year we have seen, game started going down hill in year 8 but this is just an all time new low.

Ubisoft neglecting the one game that's keeping them afloat. Makes no sense.

If you don't want to play them, don't play them. Competetive games value your time by not bombarding you with overpowered or random stuff, they are much more fair. The satisfaction you get from progressing and getting better at them is as good reason to play them as any other.

Most big esport games start off as a fun game. Almsot no game today that is an esports started off that way. For a game to have an esports scene its needs a large player base and to get the game needs to be fun first and needs to be able to attract casuals an esports first game misses both the casual and fun factor and they never work out

Ah the good old archon cry... you should change your mentality. There are 2 teams always, and many different players. Sometimes u get the retards, sometimes the enemy... and sometimes u are the special one, but if you want to win and gain mmr you have to learn. If your winrate is under 50% in you last 100 games, that means you are the problem. Be better, and when your skill is better than the others' on the same mmr, then you are gonna start to win more... until you don't meet again your skill cap. Dota's mmr system is not bad. I was an archon too once, but I started to watch videos from pros... and I started to climb. Just git gud and learn to play or stay archon forever.

With every passing day the percentage of actual lunatics increases and the number of normal players goes down since they either stop playing or play goddamn Turbo lol. I am not sure the game will die, but the playerbase will just keep getting worse and worse imo.

Find a support friend if you're core, or a core friend if you play support. Always duo lanes and create hero combinations that are poised to succeed. I made a friend online that complimented my style very well. We haven't played together in a year, but I can tell your it was much easier to win games, even with griefers, when we had 2 rather than 1 person taking the game seriously.

I really hate that carriers that are farming all game and then go afk or go farm more. And the most stupid thing is when they are the biggest level in the game and go die alone. They usually have scores like 0/2/1 in minute 40.

I lost 7000 MMR in 3 days playing Rank with toxic teams that even reported me because they are toxic and now I grow 1000 MMR per month playing AP.
