One is a 2,500 € bass, the other 98 € Ok they are two different kind of bass ideas but what about the final audio quality? Both of them recorded with an Ampeg SVT II Pro profile I made time ago with Kemper and going through a Presonus RM32AI mixer, that's all

@@Mortacciis You are exact!, I had the privilege of seeing them live, in Argentina in 1981 at the age of 17... As an anecdotal fact, in the city, the communication media announced that a very loud and serious sound would be heard that night.... The recital began with a intentional attach /distortion of the bass!!!!! Best regards!

This is the best cover I've found, but the verse riff you're playing is the guitar line from the left channel. The bass does something ... different.

@@Mortacciis Wow! Rapid response after 10 years! :) anyway, I think you'll find that in the first little part of the phrase, the bass goes F->D, for example.

Yeah excellent job! Sorry to revive this post but my band is going to play this and I have to ask, why the Basballs and the Source Audio? Wouldn’t the latter work as a stand-alone with all those options it has on it? Please Advise
I don't know, I really like Bassballs sound, maybe that you can achieve a sound like this only with Source Audio, in this video I have used it only for phasers

I've been learning this by ear for a cover band. I find it kind of a strange bass part and some evidence for this may be that everyone I've heard cover this has an ever so slightly different take on parts of it compared to many other songs I hear covered. One thing I hear on your cover and appreciate permission to do is a (very) slightly extended hold out on the backing vocal note of PAAAnama , which makes it less awkward to sing backing vocals on. And I could be wrong, but seems like I hear the accual instruments rudely moving on before the vowel of the word ends. But I'm adopting your take for my practice and doing it this way if it's ok.
