I have 2 inch spacers and a leveling kit i need to toss on.. i put the spacers on to see and they cause the out side of the tire to contact the frame on full lock..-leveling kit will fix it but a pain that i had to pull them off for now 😂

Off set wheels give you the same results and probably safer too.

No you just get to replace your wheel bearing more often
Congratulations you have now lost the last 2mpgs you were holding on to and are now negative not per gallon besides the fact that you need to readjust the entire suspension to perform better as you should but since that is not the case it will look good parked. Let’s just hope you don’t lose a wheel on the freeway good job guy way to “mod” a car

How often do you re-torque those spacers as maintenance? Do you need to uninstall them and put new loctite again?
I've 3/4 inch spacers on my car for 2 years now, no problems at all. When I check the brakes I check the torque on them. They're still exactly where I torqued them too.

i would of gotten a 2013 if it werent for that stupid antenna near the front passenger side exterior and those dreadful red tail lights otherwise i opted for the 2014 Limited it will be here by this friday 95Kmi i cant wait 😊
Congratulations!!!! 4runner fam! Yeah, that antenna, chaned it to a small one with a week of owning it. The tail light, they have a blackout one thats from the trail trim, thats what I have now

When ever you put wheel spacers it’s recommended to change out your wheel bearings
@@Angry-Little-Fish that seems expensive. Wheel bearings in all 4 corners.
Lower offset wheels have the exact same effect- unless you counter the amount of negative offset with tire width (usually a balance between a bit wider and a bit of negative offset rather than a lot of negative offset)

I did that with 2" spacers and I had to remove them immediately because it hit the edges of the chassis when turning the front tire.

Can you specify what the preface (OG) is? I’m new to Tacoma/4Runner mods. Also, I finally found a video about mods on the 2013 4Runner! You have no idea how hard it is to find a good video for this specific year and for people to showcase their build
The OG 5th generation 4runner is from the years 2010-2013, basically its the preface lift version. Thank you! Same here! Not a lot of owners share their experience with the OGs, and I’m here to represent 👍
