would this one work > 36AWG ENAMELLED COPPER WINDING WIRE, MAGNET WIRE, COIL WIRE -250G 36AWG ENAMELLED COPPER WINDING WIRE, MAGNET WIRE, COIL WIRE just want to make sure that this wire is good for oled installs

Hello, I modded my oled switch and somehow chipped the edge of the max77812 ic. Thought it was gonna be fine, however when I try to turn on the console, it wouldn't boot. I removed the chip and it successfully booted into "no sd card" screen. I have yet to try putting an sd card but does anyone know if I should replace the chip or leave it off?
@bartskuchiki2649 once you're on the no sd screen, hold down both volume buttons to power one the console regularly. I don't believe it would power on, though, with that IC
@@HardwareRepairDepot i changed the ic! However it turned blue screen when holding + and - button. When booting to cfw, my screen is glitched

Hello, i did all the soldering done. Tested all the values ok. When i try to plug a charger, led won't blink and console is dead. Any advice on this? Thanks very much
All point were 0.800+v and point B is 2.9v

@@HardwareRepairDepot i found the problem. It was the max77812 chip. I removed it and now it boots to No SD screen. It will be a pain ro replace tho, not sure if leaving it out is gonna be fine.
hi, why you didn't use the flex wire you get with the kit instead of normal wires?
Using the wire helps me confirm that it's making a proper connection. And prevent accidentally using a faulty ribbon that can possibly have a damaged trace.

Does the Hecate connect to wifi? Do you have to have wifi turned off or how do you stream your ps games
@anubis6374 I do have wifi connected to play with the playstation. Since I set up the ban protection, it's safe for me to connect to the internet.
Yo are you able to play like the Nintendo games you own with wifi on? Or will you get banned? I’m new to the jailbreak scene when it comes to switch so please be patient
@anubis6374 Yes, all games you own, you can play on nintendo ofw online, no problem, and you can switch to cfw to play mods offline.
Hey bro, i already have a modded switch OLED with an Instinct-NX chip inside. Ive basically only gotten as far as partitioning 12gb inside hikate then setting up the emummc and backing everything up. Would it be possible for me to send you an SD card to setup for me? Or does it require the entire console and sd card be sent in.

I hate to be that one guy but It was hard to sit through the video due to the crackling mic, I highly suggest a blue snowball or a yeti nano, if you move around a bunch try one of those lavalier mics (probably spelt that kind of mic wrong but its the ones where its attached to your person instead of stationary) but other than that solid video.
@Evonia2122 I hear you, man. It actually wasn't the mic it was just the editing in Adobe Premiere and something I figured out. Definitely won't happen next time.
@@HardwareRepairDepot glad to hear that you’re not upset about my word choice… but I appreciate your positive attitude towards the issue. It’s hard to come by on RUclips now ah days. You definitely got a new subscriber from how detailed you got into things. I hope the switch lite modchip won’t cost too much or have a lot of intense labor. I want to repurpose my lite since it’s just collecting dust. Same goes for an older OLED.

Are those bare copper wires connecting the chip? Won't they short out on something? Seems like you would want to use insulated wiring wouldn't you?
The wire I'm using has an enameled coating perventing any shorts 👍
I suggest disconnecting the battery as your first before touching anything on the mobo
