Be aware that all public places in this country are full of actors all dressed up & pretending to be `going somewhere`, but all that is just fake they`re instructed by the NK commie party to do so it`s their only job.

In 2006 National Geographic aired a special on North Koreans being provided cataract eye surgery by a Western doctor. The surgery is a short, outpatient process that staves of unnecessary and preventable blindness. After the surgery, patients were required to bow and give obeisance to a portrait of the maximum leader. No thanks were given to the doctor or his staff. Like totalitarian states of the recent past, even emotion is a goal of the state to be prescribed. The journalist in the film was Lisa Ling. These people should have the ability to travel to all parts of North Korea and meditate on all the sites... the prison camps, the rationed utilities, the failing fields, bare rib cages and bowel worms that is the brutal honesty of what North Korea actually is. They should also speak with defectors and witness their stories. Brutal, failed police state by choice but not the people's choice. This is of course the best of the best for outsiders to create an illusion. Just like Prosperity Village north of the DMZ.
