Did Issac wood had a Ian Curtis crisis ? quiting the band before a US tour ? except he didnt killed himself but was surel very depressed and affraid...

How can anyone stand still during the second half of Sunglasses AND Opus!?! I wonder if the crowd was instructed to not go insane, cause if I got to see Sunglasses live (in it’s true form, not the shit off of Queen Elizabeth Hall) I would start throwing fists
Those seven fellows (the whole group, Isaac included) was one of the beautifulest promise of the post covid era. It (not this one, a later one, just before it (in this form) sadly ends) will remains one of my best gig ever.

i love how isaac adds the fucking back to "and you cannot fucking touch me" in sunglasses despite having cleaned up the lyrics, sounds weird without it in the album version
I think this may have been recorded before the album - the start dates it as March 2020. But yeah, I don't even get why he did that because the album still has a "fucked" in the lyrics elsewhere - not to mention I can't imagine anyone who would want to listen to something like Sunglasses and be offended at the word "fuck"
@@HumansFreshlyBorn I'm pretty sure that was just a widespread myth that started when the lyrics started being changed. Isaac said that he changed the lyrics on Athens, France because people were interpreting it about a traumatic experience, when in reality the "main character" of the song was the supposed to be the butt of the joke.
@@AllWordsAreDust Even if it isnt fully autobiographical, I'm sure it's weird for him knowing how a lot of people interpret it. Though, I don't see how "fucking" changes the meaning in "and you cannot touch me" that much. I guess he wanted the line to sound less dramatic or aggressive maybe. I dunno I do think the rest of the lyrics were a pretty big improvement though, I love the original but the album ones feel more refined and more subtle, which even increases the emotional impact for me in a way.
This is probably my favourite performance of these tracks. Sound is fantastically balanced, its recorded at a point where the performance is watertight but they're not bored with the songs yet. Wish there was a higher quality video available, but thanks for uploading this!
To me there's three types of viewers when it comes to concert crowds. -The observer (the ones who stand cross armed but in a polite way and absorb the song and clap after the song's over) -The out of place metalhead (the guys who mosh and punch people and get the band to say "you guys okay?" -The d00shbag (the guy who crosses his arms and sneers at the band being all tough guy about music (they frequent sXe shows))
This was my introduction to BCNR. My initial reaction was… interesting. The first song I ever heard was Science Fair which was jarring to say the least. I was confused at first, but that confusion turned into a fascination… They’re my favorite band now. Science Fair grew on me so much, it’s now my favorite track of theirs and has been stuck on repeat. Look at what they did together, BCNR friends forever 🎉
Sad that Isaac left , I think the band will be missing something without him however his health is more important than our entertainment I’d say, although listening to their live album I would say they will do absolutely amazing further on without him.

Cool!, Crimson Influences in this song
This is when they were good
When was this?
the klezmer feel at 25 mins in is EPIC
Where's the jockstrap lady?
literally right there?
I wish oppenheimer would re-join
These guys are so Fucking Good!

Coolest band absolutely. It's like а step to open space.
Black Country, New Road! My new favorites.
it's almost scary how all of them are so fucking pretty
love this version of athens, france. may's euphoric keys at the end hit diff
Yay! Thanks for reuploading this. I was gutted when it was taken down! 🎉🥰
Can he stop fucking butchering his own songs
the fact that i will never be able to watch them on a session breaks me

Probably mesmerized. I would be if it were my first time hearing this music.
Stupidest comment ever
cool

porque son bandas que tocaron juntos desde un inicio, compartieron la misma escena y al parecer las mismas influencias
ambas bandas son buenos amigos y vienen de la misma escena

@@AllWordsAreDust I dont think it was to not offend people i heard it had smth to do with trauma reasons
@@HumansFreshlyBorn Idk about "trauma" but yeah, he probably regretted oversharing (if it's even about himself) when they got more popular.

the begining is so cringe

Because he thinks "guitar music playing doesn't work like that"
@@maegnificant he doesn't have a clue
Bros dumb

I love the bass in Athens, France. Excellent stuff.

what a show
Sax tone on point here, so cripsy
Such a good drummer, my lord
27:20 still one of the best plot twists in music 😂
Every time I hear that beat it reminds me of We Are Number One from Lazy Town.
dang wonder why they deleted this video off the official channel
