Since you had the 3 reds [both primary & secondary] shouldn't both cups be open? The lids stick down sometimes, check them, I can tell mine just by the sound. When refilling let the temp drop to where it kicks in, let it go to 100%....STIR COALS....then load her up...burn well seasoned wood....she will run like a watch.....P S Don't neglect cleaning

What did you find out about this? I'm having to do the same thing. And My controller has been acting funny since the beginning of this season. I just got it last season.

Whqt was the issue, I got the 760 and ran it all last year, learning curve as I replaced my old Wood Doctor Converter, but I am a little nervous with the electronics.

What ended up being the problem? I just had a 560 hdx installed this spring and have really messed with it other than to send a water sample in. Since purchasing it, I’ve had several people reach out and tell me how big of a piece of junk they are. Kind of nervous lol

How does the stepper know where its position is? I don't see a home switch to give it reference of location. Or are the springs to pull the stepper back to bottom each time the steeper power is turned off. If so you have to many chain links in the chain.

@toyotaecw he, in nb canada we havn't had this much snow since i've been born. you cand find a long track for sale because theres 4 feet of pow and no one wants to sell them. the only longtrack for a good price you'll find would be on a touring sled.

i got a 2010 yamaha phazer RTX how do you bore out an exhaust to be something like this also will the cops kick your ass for this?

I have an 08 rtx short track and ride trail, and some rough ditch riding. Mine work's great. however my question to you is... Why would you buy an 80 hp sled with a 144 track and go to a real mountain? yamaha needs a kick in the ass for calling the phazer mtx a mountain sled. It's like putting a 144 on a 440 two stroke and expecting it to perform well. the mtx is a great flatland powder sled, but a HUGE dissapointment in the mountains.

i second that! Also the fx suspension compared to the mtx suspension.. yikes. i do not agree with the reliable part though.. mine was an 07 though. they could possably be a lot better now.

If you aren't from up north or out west and don't live near a mountain, why spend the extra dough on a long track? Heard mixed things about Phazers... Heard they are reliable as hell but tippy. I was thinking about getting a used one

@WaterdownBOY north liberty iowa, and later december. and that is the bset you will ever see snow around here, only reason its so good that day is becasue it was snow cold and noone was out. usualy we have about 2 days to ride on the trails till there dirt..

right now, no snow in southern ontario, so in the mean time, I am going to plaster my face up against the screen and watch your vids and pretend I am riding! Thanks! LOL

i must have just got a bad one. but im not the only one that had problems with them. i fouled at least 5 sets of plugs in 1500 miles. no joke. thing overheaded all the time. i hate having a sled that i have to worry about. Just my luck the the phaz. hope you continue to have great luck with them.

what silencer is that.

if you are looking for light get a tnt 500 mxz - 50 lbs lighter and way more power. Phazer is great, but just letting you know.

put a cherrry bomb on it thats what one of my buddys did

the supersport will more in likely have more power but has no suspension like the phazer.

rear suspension bolts coming out. side pannals falling off. suspension fading out. fouling plugs.. it was a fun sled dont get me wrong. was just a bad year. i do ride my sleds hard though.

HOw was the sled not holding up? Did it blow an engine or something cuz my cousin has got one and he hasn't had any problems yet. Nice vid by the way.

the new phazer wont be to much power.. it will be around the same as the 477. just more low end. you will love it.

depends what type of riding you do. its it trails... the question is can he keep up with yout.. its its streaghts and lakes.. then no.

it was only about 30-40 miles and its in east central iowa in december.
