A couple of days ago our door next to the housing development was open and I heard the best version of this song EVER. I thought it was on a radio in a truck belonging to a crew putting in a fiber optics cable next to us. But there was no harmonia, just a male singing the words. without the county twang in Hank's rendition. Maybe there's a recording of Jr. channeling is dad's voice?? Whoever was singing it didn't have any backup, just his clear and beautiful voice.

It took Hank 5 min to basically say “I don’t know”, to a question that was irrelevant in the first place. What Hank or anybody else thinks doesn’t matter. What does the Word of God say? It clearly says that every last one of us is born in sin, and have zero chance of earning a place or being “blessed” into heaven. We are all bound to spend eternity separated from God, unless Jesus perfect righteousness is credited to us. Period.

Is Hank Williams Jr a CHRISTIAN or a religious man?

I think this song really is his best song ever. The New South is his best album by far. Wow this is a gem for sure! This song also give folks an example of what was to come. Hank Jr and friends was great too, but man he was really on top during this time.

Thunderhead Hawkins is all heart his music comes from his heart and he writes his own music his way and he likes Jim beam and I like Jim beam Apple but I could sit here and listen to his whole entire families history and music and it's nothing but from the heart it's all real and that's why I like it

I hope the na-sayers will open up and realize what a singer and instrumentalist, Hank, Jr. Is. I listen to his first recordings when his mom controlled him, and his voice is remarkable. You are so right Hank! We see Hank iii, and I had to listen to him a while. But I had to listen. Hank, Sr., he was the writer, Hank. Jr. the singer. But, man did he pour out his heart. In '69 i lived in Prattville. Lost and homesick, I got a map of Montgomery. Every day I went somewhere different. My favorite place was Hank William.s grave site. The stately monument that marked his grave. One day there was a concrete, western hat, next day it was gone, stolen, but It did not keep me from sitting there, dat after day, singing his songs to him, talking to him. I don't remember the year, but our school bus driver alway a had a radio installed on the bus, and at 7:00 am Hank. Sr. Williams had a live radio program. I knew all his songs and would sit there everyday and sing o him. No body ever came around. Sitting on the hill, south side of Montgomety, AL, singing to Hank Williams, Sr., YES, I WAS SO LONESOME I COULD CRY. .

Wow, never saw / herd this side of Hank before. Just seemed like he was so soft spoken, and gave a lot of thought to his answers. That was honest, and at the end of the day that's all a person can be, admitting their faults and striving to hit the mark the next day if they miss it in the previous one . Thanks for posting.

Loved this show big fan of Hank's since I was knee high to a grasshopper would like to have heard Jimmie Reed's "You've got me runnin" I saw a video clip a while back and Hank was awesome with it
