Have you seperated it. If not treated....it will not survive....take a small tank....fill it with maximum 50 liters of water.... If your discus is 5 inch tall then depth of water should not be more than 8 inches.....it will help him swim with lot less pressure....put a heater with temperature 30 degrees.....add two spoons of rock salt...3 metrogyl 400.......change 50 % water next day.... repeat this for 5 days....hope it will recover....it's a aggressive treatment time..do or die situation.... because you said your discus is suffering for three weeks...

In 50 liters tank do not use more than 100 watts heater

Although we don't like to see algae in our aquarium but u know algae is good....it proves your tank is matured and healthy.....for me it's more or less impossible to get rid of that algae on the bogwood....to remove that I have to take everything out and rescape it....I don't want to do that....so I accepted algae in my tank ,😀.. I don't understand your second question....

@@ayanangshusarkaraquascapin6676 Does algae irritates the skin of fish that they start rubbing against substrate ie flashing? You could use bristlenose plecos or siamese algae eater to control algae.

No these fishes are ok with the algae. Once I released two grown up bristle nose pleco...both of them were killed by my L200 green phantom pleco. I have a full grown L200 here ...he is very strong and territorial.....also my favourite....so never released any plecos after that.

Eheim obviously. I have both, problem is even if Chinese ones are cheaper but they will leak eventually after a span of 6 to 12 months

No they mainly clean the glasses and smooth rock or driftwood, I didn't see them clearing hair algae . I think you can experiment with two three black mollies for hair algae

Absolutely no food. They can survive quite some time without food but cannot tolerate bad water quality for long. And food is the primary source of deterioration of water quality.

আমার উপরের ট্যাঙ্ক টা , 2.5 ফিট, ADA মাটি 3 ইঞ্চি, নিচে ADA power sand আছে কিছুটা, আর base e 4W দিয়ে তার উপর পাওয়ার sand আর মাটি দিয়েছি। গাছ গুলি বেশিরভাগ স্টেম প্লান্ট, লাইট 6500 কেলভিন হোয়াইট। সাজানো টা আপনার নিজের মতো। কিন্তু প্রথমে ডিসকাস ছাড়িনি, প্রায় মাস চারেক লেগেছে aquascape টা stable hote, তারপর 3 ইঞ্চির 4 টে ডিসকাস ছেড়েছি। কিন্তু এই ধরনের ট্যাঙ্ক এর problem যেটা ফেস করেছি সেটা হলো, নভেম্বর থেকে যখন heater use করতে বাধ্য হলাম তখন থেকে aquascape টা নষ্ট হতে শুরু করলো। 28+ ডিগ্রী celcius e বেশিভাগ গাছ থাকবেনা. আরেকটা উপায় হল নিচে বালি দিয়ে, ড্রিফট উড দিয়ে aquascape করা আর তাতে, Anubias, জাভা ফার্ন দিয়ে সাজানো, এটা দীর্ঘমেয়াদি হয়। You tube e MD FISH TANK er একটা ভালো টিউটোরিয়াল আছে, দেখতে পারেন।

@@ayanangshusarkaraquascapin6676 esha or api general cure use it once clear every ones stomach and after treatment keep them in epsom salt and soak there food in seachem garlic gaurd and vitality and feed them, avoid blood worm frozen food only pellets will never get issue gareentee. Give frozen food or blood worm if you can change water two times per day or else no. If you want to enjoy just feed pellet food Hikari bio gold - Exotica Day by Day - Sera - Tropical D-50 or other tropical flakes

That is true. If i decide to keep gold fish...will take input from you....how to grow them .... because in my earlier days I failed to grow them after a certain size

Sure....as long as the sand is not to coarse coz discus prefer to eat food from the tank base....also it need to be kept clean so there should not be accumulation of uneaten food in the sand. Otherwise there will be amonia spike...you will lose your fish

Very simple 1 . Canister filter of your choice 2. One sponge filter 3. A good quality thermostat 4. Kolkata municipality water 5. Water change after Every two days. 6. Good quality food( discus biogold/ Sera discus granules) 7. Most importantly as you are starting discus keeping for the first time...start with atleast 3.5 inch discus of a group of 6. Don't buy juveniles. All the very best
