Here is my seeding run from the first round of the South West DH series, the whole weekend I was riding on a rental trail bike. Was hoping to be much more aggressive come race day but made a mistake in practice and hurt my ankle pretty bad, had to sit out finals.

First time riding STD, and the second time riding Suicide after 4 years, was fun to come back to this zone while the conditions are great.

How's the megatower ride?
Its capable but not sluggish, I like it.
This is about as pedal heavy as I've seen for a DH course. Some nice hits at the end though.
Looks like you were moving. I posted some footage of the pros and you look just as fast on the Crazy Horse drop. I raced Cat 2 and opted not to do that drop. Props to you and I hope you heal quickly.

@@CANNABISfreedomNOtaxes Yes its a bell, practically illegal to ride in Santa Barbara without a bell.
@WillKirschke makes sense though. A lot of those trails in the Santa Ynez Mountains are pretty busy. I used to live in Carp. Loved it down there. We have some pretty sweet singletrack up in the Shasta/Trinity/Humboldt area where I live too.
So awesome to see this trail! A few co years back the fires destroyed the place

Cool! The longest flow trail I can reach by bike from my house is a couple of hundred yards long….😢
Almost 58 and still hitting it in the peak district.
Love it ! Just turned 53 in April and want to get back to mtbiking. Did alot in late 80s and 90s and was always on my bmx as a kid. Reminds me of when i snowboard though, notice some suprised reactions when i take off helmet and goggles and people get a better idea of my age. It's insane the evolution of the bikes and the riding since then.
