I know why your machine is rattling, it's because the blade is not balanced it's not because of the zero gap, I have the same issue with one of my machine before I thought it was zero gap was making the issue but it wasn't it was the balance your blade is a little bit over on the right side compared to your left side if you look at it that's where they're off balance is, Hopefully that helped

The quiet comes from the cutting blade, looks like you have the steel blade, switch to ceramic and it will work well for the autistic. Love the color mod. I'm getting into customizing my own. 9:46
Nice video man! I have been working on my own custom clippers with trial and error. I found that using a 2 part epoxy over the paint and then clear coat is quite durable. The epoxy creates a layer so it wont chip off like your clipper is. I hope this helps.

I prefer 5.5 because you have more control of what you’re cutting.
How many months do they stay sharp before you have to re-sharpen them ? I cut 5 haircuts daily ..

@antoniocuts I know some people who have the JRL. They are quiet for a long time. Decent clipper I just don’t like the shape. But the lopro fx one is more powerful.

It is. And it’s not zero gapped. Just how it’s made.
What is the purpose of the 14 tooth?
Just cuts more hair than 31 teeth. More for giving texture.
@@LeviCutz I saw a video and a guy was using it shear over comb to connect the top to the sides. Looked like it worked good for this. I might have to pick up a pair. Thanks sir
@@RyanAlcaI do this all the time but typically as a finishing touch to blend in some areas
Does it rattle with Wahl guards?
I’m not sure if they do or not. I use the Babyliss premium guards and it only rattles with the .5 and the 1 guard all the way closed.
@@LeviCutz I use the stylecraft rogue and mine doesn't rattle but it is slightly louder when I use the 1 guard closed and .5 but with the Wahl premium.
I got one and I’m not as in love with it as I thought I would be. Got it for sale at the moment actually.
Yea it does , clipper itself is good. Click lever is cheaply made IMO. And no matter how tight the screws are the blade keeps moving.
@@jDot2414 the problems I have with it is the open lever no guard kinda pushes hair around. Not that great for clipper over comb and you can tell it’s <7000pms. When you pick up a saber or ergo clipper with slim deep cutters and faper blade you can see the difference. It seems like it cuts faster and I’ll take the faper over the MIM blade any day. The power and the looks are there for sure. But I also prefer a dock rather than laying the clipper in a pile of hair on your station.
