I created this for a company contest we are running...

@pcfxer well I found some sealed cloth surrounds...i'm contemplating in maybe actually fixing them, and using them in my brother and I's shop.

@KingOfTheClutch if you lived closer I would have gone to get them now! The surrounds can be repaired or you can simply purchase replacement drivers (with revised surrounds) fresh magnets etc. The last I heard, Bose recycles their old drivers (does not mean to make new ones) and makes the series VI driver with a revised surround to sell as OE Series IVs. The replacement surrounds are nowhere near as good sounding as OE replacement though.

@pcfxer I have a set I found in the storage unit I bought..........I know nothing about them, they need new surrounds, and i'm not sure if I want to be the guy who fixes them, I'm contemplating in selling them.

@ironwaregmail lol, let know how that goes man. They are such fascinating speakers to listen and look at. I have come full circle from open baffles, bi-amping, active crossovers just to find myself back at the same Bose 901s that started my journey into engineering in the first place ;).
