I'd genuinely be interested in seeing this taken farther. Not just making the footage higher resolution, giving it more frames, and adding colour, but also adjusting the speed to be less undercranked, and adding foley and even voiceover.

I have become so frustrated and dismayed by movie makers over the last 20 years. Possibly it's just nostalgia on my part but I think there was a time when movies were better. The 90s was the decade of my childhood and it saw the coming of Jurassic Park, Toy Story, some of Disney's best work, even popcorn movies like Independence Day were better then the popcorn movies we have now. But in recent years it's been slapdash sequels, remakes, revival of old franchises which are designed to pander to fans yet give us nothing of what we want. And if they get backlash from fans, they scramble to create a sequel that backpedals and that just make it more annoying. And as for gender and race bending, it just feels off and you can't say you hate it without fearing you'll be called a bigot. And yet despite everything the big studios seem keep making huge profits. Something I'd like to do is organise a kind of protest event against Hollywood's dip in quality, IE opening a free movie theatre and showing films like this. Ones that really cared about quality. The idea would be to strike back at the big studios who put profits over quality by giving people a free and alternate choice to what they offer. And perhaps remind people what real quality is. There are people who have never seen a movie older than 1985! Also I would use it to protest this runaway PC and social correctness trend that's been going on for decades. I'm no racist but these people are throwing tantrums over anything with a hint of racial, religious or gender bias. They want to ban old cartoons and films like Song of the South. And Hollywood keeps making every group in every TV show and movie as multi ethnic as possible. Imagine how they'd react to a movie where the Confederates are the protagonists.

Amazing brought up to date but would be much better with voice overs rather than word cards I'm sure over dubbed voice and sound will make it much better Harold Lloyd building is still there the clock still there today but not as half as high in the picture its high enough for harold to break an ankle but the clock can be seen just halfway above a window then there's a lower ground which goes down about 20 to to 30 feet but Harold s record for climbing such hight with out an safety net still stands today

it's sort of a sepia tinted film with a few colors here and there...if you must colorize a b/w silent( which would never be my choice but I understand some people like it)then this is very nicely and respectfully done I think.....bit like the oldest two strip technicolor that was already used for some silents in the 1920's

Oh my Gawd. Why why why would you even consider desecrating a brilliant black and white classic silent with darling Harold Lloyd by colorizing it? Classics should be presented as they were originally presented, whether in black and white, sepia, or color, movie or still. Just because you Can do something, doesn't mean you Should do it, especially when the 'Something' is colorizing a classic. Nope. Byebye.

Isle of Man TT vibes. The TT is essentially how Grands Prixs used to be, danger and safety too. Don't forget, none of the current F1 drivers would have the courage to race in this race as it was (they have said as such - F1 drivers up to 2000 would have), back then it was not only your racing skills but your bloody-minded courage. Nearly all of the drivers in this race eventually died racing or were forced to retire through accident.
