This song can grow with you. Sounds good played basically just add in the rest over time. Once you unlock the secret there are multitudes things you can play over this and remain in the context of the song. I have to learn this for a gig too! Good luck!

@@ericoberman5697 Eric, you'd be surprised though. With the the right overdrive and dialing in the controls and pickup blend, you can get pretty close with that metallic clunk that Ric's are so good for. I dialled in a fair bit of top end and OD (using a Dingwall OD pedal) for this track and pretty happy with the "Ric-like" tone - even with my '76 Univox 4001 that plays and sounds like a Ric hanging in the background, I still choose to play the Schecter for these parts.

@@OmerPlaysBass I've had the bass 2 weeks now & WOW! Heavier than expected, which I take as a positive. It looks more like a Ric than I can make it sound (can get close though).. BUT the sounds you CAN get are many & excellent! Figuring the EQ without any available manual was a bitch, but I have it sorted. It looks so cool... I'm thinking of getting black plates made to black out the front, but it does look pretty cool as is. Played it live down the Jersey Shore last weekend for the first time with a band and it sat really well in the mix.. VERY happy with it!

Thanks Chris. I've had a few blocks and done the appeal and have been pretty successful in making the case to get a video unblocked. It's a judgement thing - like for my "Africa" when the band blocked it for all videos not just mine, I never challenged and just left it - it came back on its own, then gone then back and is still up now. Even if a video does get blocked,, it is still good to have learned the song as exact as I can, so makes me a better player.
