I gotta learn some new licks, at least some in the correct century. I'm stuck in the 70's but I'm planning to spend more time practicing rather than simply posting ridiculously labored sound clips. But the comparison is exactly how it sounds. They are two very different sounds, at least to my ears. Both good. These are the import G12M's by the way.

I have a pair of Weber "Stan Spec" blue baskets in 16ohm that I pulled out and replaced with these new Mojotone BV12M's. Remember those? But they've been pummeled with db over the years so they've loosened up quite a bit. To my ears, the Mojotone need some volume to loosen the doping a bit.

@@bigredguitar5601 I played the Mojotone for two years. I tried the Webber, and it was a blackback era sort of sound. It was too dark for my liking. It lacked highs, so much that my treble, mid, and presence control did almost nothing. I went back to 2022 UK greenbacks, and I'm happy. I did not dislike the Mojotone. It had looser bass. I like the greenbacks a little more in my regular cab (Mojotone British 2x12 angled). It's a big cab for a 2x12, not lacking in bass response. The Mojotone speaker went in my smaller cab that could benefit from the bass it provides. I'm not sure what to do with the Webber.

Yes Sir, big difference in white noise as well. I mean, the Jaques was only like $129 back in the day. Live, it probably wouldn't matter I guess.

@@ace-rob71 The neck (rhythm pickup) is the (DP-103) 36th. The bridge is a DP100 (F space) Thanks Rob for checking it out.
