Ride with Kaleb Mill Creek Loop
Chilly ride, 37° at the start, 36° at the end. Had to ride hard to stay warm but the temps weren't the real challenge, it was the leaves that had blown into drifts obscuring the trail.

The Leaves

Winds had blown leaves into thick piles on this side of the mountain. Under the leaves was rutted out, loose gravel. Fun surprise.

We love this cat. We take the dogs walking on our .5 mile trail in the woods daily and now Rambo the cat has joined the daily walks. If he gets left behind he cries.

@909Kodak is a troll. :-)
This is great man! What all do you have mounted there on the bar?
Where’s a good place to park to walk several miles as one big loop?
Park at the Alcoa City building, I think that would be your best bet for a loop. If you are using Google maps there is a layer for bike trails that will highlight the greenways. 223 Associates Blvd, Alcoa, TN 37701
It's always best to say no if you're not 100% sure about the feature, though it does look like a lot of fun!
Good video. Makes me want to drive back up there. I used to ride around it twice. I went after a flood once. That entrance to that tunnel had a couple inches of mud .I didn't see it till it was too late. I went down like I was sliding into home plate. Had mud from my foot to the top of my shoulder.😂😂.
👍
Wow amazing beautiful scenery
Yes, thank you
Cool . . . Thanks for sharing Mark! First time we've had a video of one of our rides.
We were there that day.
wow all that work to lay those flat stones, especially in the banked switchbacks. Where did the trail builders quarry the pavers?
Not sure where they source the rock from but we have some awesome trail builders around here!
I think I could ride most of the uphill sections but th.e downhills were too fast for me
Nice
Thanks
Nice single track....looks like fun.....subscribed!
Cool, but technical!
This looks like a couple runs we have here in Michigan at DTE energy Foundation!
Now that looked like a blast!
Fun video, nice single track ride.......keep them coming.......subscribed
How about a little help for mine?
Really cool single track ride!
Thank you. It's a fun trail.
I nearly ate a tree when I slipped coming down fire break next time I'm home I may go for knights fall then up that way.
Very cool bike trail I must say... but ahhh this music is odd really. sorry but true.
Glad I could expand your horizons. You should venture out of that box now and then.
Yeah I know. I really shoud :) Have a nice day.
Shame that tree was in your way, man! But I could totally see how you'd mess up your shoulder catching yourself that way. Glad you're healing.
Where are you riding at in this video?
South Knoxville Urban Wilderness, TN. Lost Chromosome and AC/DC trails.
This was in a section of the Knoxville Urban Wilderness, Lost Chromozone, chain ring and AC/DC trails.
As far as AW goes Broken Nose is the ONLY BENCHMARK rapid on the Ocoee and it is AW that sets those benchmarks. Surprise is a HOLE at the end of the Doldrums before Tablesaw. What you call "Sneaky Pete" is "sneaking" around the hole, usually to the left. www.americanwhitewater.org/content/River/detail/id/1780/
Also, Sneaky Pete is just a class 2 and Table saw is a benchmark 3+.
Suprise actually isn't a rapid. It's a ledge in a rapid called Sneaky Pete. There is also Shark fin ledge which is above Suprise ledge. Suprise ledge is known for pins.
Around 2.8 feet...
hahaha...the name of the rapid is Broken Nose. Next time I'll wear the cam on my helmet and put it all together. We didn't have the time for a 2nd trip on Sunday.
i was afraid you meant that you had broken your nose, glad to hear that's not the case! thanks for the vid man
Surprise is a much, much smaller rapid upstream of Tablesaw. It is small that is why they call it "surprise" lmao This rapid by no means is a surprise unless you are blind and deaf. We have paddled the Ocoee a few 100 times so trust me...it is Tablesaw.
That's not table saw!!!!!! Surprise .......
THATS NOT TABLE SAW!!!!!!! Surprise rapids....
Troll.
