Thanks, glad you liked the video ! I think Van Nuys is on a different level. Unfortunately, Cannes can't accommodate jets weighing more than 77,161.8 lb. However, I believe Nice (LFMN) can compete with VNY, we can fit a few heavy BBJs there. 😄

I would recommend you to bring a shorter lens. For a Bombardier Challenger 350 on the taxiway (from the east side of the field), my focal length is 30mm For a Dassault Falcon 7X on the runway (from the west side of the field), my focal length is 53mm

@@Davidaviation91 I have a crop sensor (Sony RX10 IV). In the morning, I spot from the car park that is located on the roof of the Asian restaurant. In the afternoon, I spot from either the small car park near the boat repair shop (not accessible on Sunday and public holidays). It's recommended to use a ladder for this spot. Or you can spot from the concrete blocks that is near the loading ramp of the LIDL.

Somestimes, they walk out of their Lektro to check if they can fit the plane further, but they are definitely skilled !
