Lol, sad life of a berserker!

Haha, Dauntless is my favorite shield, and I use it most of the time. I only switch to Onslaught to increase my luck during certain boss fights. Fully upgraded, Onslaught adds 38 luck, which boosts the Vanaheim set's damage. Dauntless, on the other hand, adds 38 cooldown, which I don't really need since I just pop my relic once to deal max damage. The Onslaught Shield's charge attack is awesome for blocking incoming ranged attacks and is super handy during those blue ring attacks. Even if the boss finishes the blue rings before you can hit them with a shield bash, you won't take any damage. I rushed Gna with this shield, and it was a blast! 😄

@@promitix The stats, of course... being able to block blue attacks is also really handy for sure. The different shields are my single favorite addition to Ragnarok. It makes the combat so much more diverse and allows for completely different playstyles, I love it. It makes going back to 2018 a little rough cuz I miss the dauntless so much lol

@RepublicofODLUM Yup, I gave 2018 a shot last week and definitely missed the shields and the spear. I’m with you...having those different shields really made the gameplay a lot more fun!

Thank you! The old man Kratos is epic, I agree. His mature look has grown on me, and I like it more than his younger appearance. What makes me nostalgic isn’t his look but the armor, especially the waist armor, "Mark of Sparta." The issue is that this armor gives old Kratos trousers, while the young version only has the armor and greaves, which I really prefer. 😊

You can check out the full video on my channel if you'd like to see my build. I don't know if you are playing NG or NG+. This run is in NG+ with Level 10 Kratos. The skills I used, Chaotic Rampage 1, 2, and 3, are all fully upgraded. Also, I am using the Berserker Cuirass (you get it from Svipdagr the Cold and Sisters of Illska boss fight) and two pieces of the Zeus armor (you get it after finishing the main story in NG+). If you are trying to beat him with Atreus, wait until you get Freya with you again. Freya's Seidr Exhale is OP. If timed correctly, you can stagger and poison the boss immediately after the Hilt of Hofud's realm shift ends.

Hehe, the Ng+ endgame builds feel like easy mods.

Thank you! I haven't played the game in a while, but defeating Radahn should be easier now since they nerfed him. They changed his moves, damage, and attack range. I haven't had a chance to fight him since September's patch 1.14, which lists all the changes. Also, that patch mentions it changes his action pattern when the battle starts, so if he doesn't charge at you immediately when you go through the fog gate, It may take longer than 20 seconds.

I hold the button to keep my shield up. I release it and press just before I parry, then double-tap afterward to perform the shield bash.

I used to dislike parrying, but Sekiro made me a fan, and Lies of P helped me understand it better. Parrying can be difficult in this game, especially since enemies often run off-screen. This becomes even more difficult when fighting multiple at once.

@123wahooguy After the green drop attack, there is a second attack. It's hard to see due to limited FOV. A red circle appears around your position after the green attack and you need to dodge it quick.

Thanks! :) True, this fight was the easiest one. The arena was large, which made the fight easier. The main challenge in these Berserker fights is the restricted FOV.

@@WorldBeater123 Oh, sorry. I was actually using Golden Loong Staff here. I beat him on NG+ with Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff. I uploaded that video recently, so I got confused. My bad. Golden Loong Staff has 108 attack and enhances piller stance attacks. Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff is an NG+ staff with 120 attack and a 25% crit chance.

I agree with you. It doesn't matter how you play. If you're not playing the "only way" a specific group of people wants you to play, even when you beat a boss efficiently, they'll complain and deny you the "Struggle" achievement. Interestingly, when they say things like you didn't do anything or just pressed a button, they completely forget that achieving efficiency is a struggle.

I'm using the pillar stance.
