I'm not going to lie; half of the story was pretty bad. The THX logo felt clichéd and unnecessary. I believe removing that part of the story would have improved it. Perhaps if they had rewritten it to suggest that this version of the cut was made in 2002, keeping the deleted scene from "Finding Nemo" and incorporating various changes from the original version of the movie to make it more realistic, it could have worked. Instead of focusing on gore and the shock value they could have included scenes like the barracuda scene where Coral is impaled on the barracuda's teeth, and you could see evidence of Coral's fate, such as his severed fin or scattered teeth, or the shark chase where you could see Dory losing a lot of blood and all the sharks and Marlin have to save Dory from blood loss. There are so many other ideas as well. Overall, it wasn't a great story.

I'd say the songs that heavily tie to that " dystopian capitalism cult " would be Brand x and The new romans. Their lyrics clearly give that idea of a hyper capitalistic cult.
