Solving of Poisson's Equation using Finite Element Method (FEM)- Weak and Strong form of PDEs
Просмотров 2,4 тыс.9 месяцев назад
In this video, I present a comprehensive approach to understanding weak form of Poisson's equation. We start by deriving the weak form of the equation using integration by parts. Then, I demonstrate how to convert the weak form into matrix form, to solve it numerically. Finally, I guide you through the implementation of this theory in MATLAB software, providing a practical example to solidify y...

Numerical Solution of 1D Heat Equation Using Finite Difference Technique
Просмотров 23 тыс.3 года назад
In this video we solved 1D heat equation using finite difference method. For validation of solution we compared it with analytical solution and showed that ratio of time step divided by square of space step should be less or equal to 0.5, that is what one can expect for explicate method.

Microwave Plasma Torch
Просмотров 18 тыс.3 года назад
Using the magnetron of a microwave oven and a tapered wave guide it is possible to compress the electromagnetic wave in a narrow region and create electrodeless plasma torch. The moving wall at the end of wave guide provide an option for roughly tuning of coupled power to plasma torch and match the maximum power of antenna to plasma column.
Concrete block explosion using high current-voltage!!
Просмотров 4113 года назад
For explosion of concrete I drilled a hole and implemented a dielectric bar inside it. On the dielectric bar there was a twisted very thin wire and the wire was connected to high current-voltage power supply. After sealing the entrance hole with some glue and pushing a button, high current pass through thin wire and vaporize it. The shock wave that generated du to instant vaporizing of wire bre...

I had trouble with d( V(x)/dx) = dV I know how to take derivative of a function, but I am not sure how to handle just a differential d( ) Congratulations on very well-presented video.
great👍, can you make a video on two equation system of predator prey model
Thank you for nice information In my example there is co-eficient of y(i) which is zero when i take i=1 so unable to evaluate the value of y(i) according to iterative method
ruclips.net/video/XR578io_3eg/видео.html to get the analytical and numerical solutions of a Laplace/Poisson equation with MATLAB
👀👀👀👀🤔🤔🤔🤔💥💥💥
Can you make a video where forcing term for vibration problem and source term in heat problem are there?
where you have applied BCs in numerical method, there two BCs required?
what the plasma temperature
@@pro.empire I've not measured it directly, it depends on gas flow and input power but typically local temperature is high, in order of several thousands of degree of centigrade
This is very great, can you do circular domain
This video is very informative, I have only a small nitpick in the code: using omega = 1 we divide by sin(omega * a) = sin(a) = sin(3pi) = 0! The matrix indeed shows huge values (not infinity because of floating point rounding errors)

awesome content finally
so helpful
Thanks for this concise and effective 2D solution at t=0. Do you have another video showing the wave behaviour when u(t) in time?
No, sorry
I am looking for MATLAB code of 2D possion equation with P2 eleemnt. How can I get help?

Thank you so much Can you please write a code that shows the nodes value ?
The code is written already, have you seen it? t.me/Abolfazl_Mahmoodooor
@@abolfazlmahmoodpoor_ Yes, I saw it, but it only shows the number of nodes and elements. What I want is the value of nodes at some points
@@shahad9376 but there is also two figures, one shows the mesh, the other shows the value of V at the nodes, did you see these figures?
@@abolfazlmahmoodpoor_ Oh i see it now, Thanks Can i change this code to use it in another equation?
@@shahad9376 yes sure
Super!
Man, this is really interesting!
How does it work if f=f(x) ?
if f == f(x)
@@abolfazlmahmoodpoor_ yeah indeed in your example f is equal to a constant, but how do you solve the RHS integral if f is a function of x?
@@MNDriveIn if analytical solution is available, analytically, if no, you need to solve it numerically
@@abolfazlmahmoodpoor_ Thanks for your quick response! When f is a function of x do you also need to rewrite f in terms of zeta when solving the integral? Something like f=f(x) --> f=f(zeta) with zeta(x)?
@@MNDriveIn yes
is this code available in python too?
Unfortunately no 😕
@@abolfazlmahmoodpoor_ will it be possible to get the pdf of the lecture. Also rather than matrix method will it be possible to solve simply by discretizing the second order differential equation. While doing the analytical solution, on the right hand side you assume the function to be independent of x but I think the function is dependent of x, in that case how to get the analytical solution. Please explain. Thank you.
@@sachinrajpandey5242In many cases the RHS is a function of coordinates and analytical solution does not exist. That is why we try to solve in numerically. I considered a constant RHS to have a analytical solution and compare it with the numerical one. What we did here, was discretizing the second order differential equation and solved it in both iterative method and direct method. About the sharing the PDF file, I am thinking about putting it in my Telegram channel but I think view hours of my videos will drop, and may be doesn't. I am not sure yet.
