Just saw the movie again and i didn't pay attention to the soundtrack before now and this song really touch my heart brought tears to my eye really hard a beautiful song!!! A great movie and a great song!!

God, I heard this song during a time life was kinda topsy turvy. I had just had twins, a full house depending on me. My oldest just turned 19yrs old and was trying to find his way. A new career. And I just was trying to make it through tomorrow. Just another tomorrow. So, keep praying for tomorrow’s. Tomorrow’s can always wash away the yesterdays. Tomorrow is another chance to find our way and believe that everything will be okay. I remember having talks about being a young black man in society and keeping safe. “ How you have to always remember “ what people see you as does not have to be your truth”. The day watching this movie my son was pulled over in he’s own community just because he fit the narrative. “ Young black mail, approximately 6’ft 6’1, Dark jacket, just got done playing ball in the park. Unfortunately being a young black growing up he has experienced this. Even though he was very educated, bright, kind and never has ever been in any kind of trouble. He had to experience this. The sad part is now 2023 as I wash “Crash”with now my 17yr old young son I have to have the same discussions. How to keep safe. How to respond if addressed by police. Be mindful about your belongings on public transportation. If you see a group gathering when coming home from school walk the other way. Having friends that doesn’t look like him and why I fear him being in their communities also. will remember “ Crash” 14-15 years later still hits my soul and this song still makes me feel the same. Still hoping and praying for tomorrow’s where my sons can “ Just Be”, just allowed to find their way safely. Maybe tomorrow, “ Can be”.

May Allah give him what he has not gained in this life Ameen only wished he moved on and found someone else on the other hand some hearts cant disturb they past which had they own happiness that was left behind that they found in the first place which had pain of breaking up as well.
