Any advice about polishing acrylic crystal with cyclops? Should I tape over the cyclops and just polish normally or is it different for crystals with cyclops and it might damage the cyclops? Thanks
@@MrClassy1991 if it does, just polish as you would the flat crystsl. It will be clear again as well. Usually the stocks stop at the edge of the cyclops
@@alabamadeep4471 thanks I'll definitely try that, just bought 14 gen crystals from ebay some need polish but not that bad, a couple have some slight crack at the base of the crystal where it goes inside the watch and bezel covers it, do you think they should be usable or i should just get rid of them? Thanks Jim

So Super clones come in different grades and movements. #1 clean factory best $800-$1000 3135 super movement Then the Asia ETA powered reps $300-$400 Then the Miyota versions $280 The lowest grade DG2813 what you find on Ali..

Nice collection Jim….. the hybrid watches are such a brilliant idea… real Rolex parts…. Real dial, crown, strap…. Movement etc…. Put into one watch they really are one of a kind….! And a bonus they’re real Rolex watches even tho they aren’t sold as is by Rolex

I really like those old ones but I still hate the modern ones, I said on an older video that the one I bought on Amazon , the bezel broke 4 times and I’ve had to rebuild it. Now it has another issue, the movement looses 30 minutes a day which is odd

I'm wearing one of their "expensive" pro-divers with a sellita sw200 whacked in it.. got a thinner depth case (10mm).."upgraded" bracelet (solid end links and milled clasp) aaaaaaaand...I can't remember what else lol...I've NEVER had ONE issue with it..I had one of the cheaper ones to... the bracelet snapped and the crystal broke as it smashed the ground tho..I absolutely ADORE this watch tho.. 9937ob if you're interested.

@@alabamadeep4471 I think the main reason the bezel keeps breaking is because it isn’t really designed for usage, plus I didn’t get the coin edge version which might have more stability or something. It was my fault I ordered the wrong one by not paying attention to the bezel

MY OPINION IS ROLEX IS KING OF WATCHES ⌚️ IF THEY WEREN'T CHINA WOULD NOT INVEST TIME OR MONEY IN REPLICATING THEM. AND MOST WATCH MAKERS OR BUILDERS SAY AND MENTION THAT THEY ARE EASY TO WORK WITH. AND THEY ARE VERY STYLISH AND FASHIONABLE TO WEAR PERIOD. AND I PERSONALLY HAVE SEEN MANY MORE REPLICAS OUT HERE NOW THEN EVER. AND IF YOUR JUST A PERSON DRESS UP TO MATCH YOUR OUTFITS OR WARDROBE WITH YOUR TIME PIECES ⌚️ THEN IT WOULD DEFINITELY BE WORTH IT. BUT IF YOUR WELL OFF LIKE FINANCIALS THEN IT'S OK TO INVEST IN THE REAL DEAL.

Hey Alabama This one of the best builds yet Most people can never or will ever afford the cost of a rolex . So building one from parts is the next logical thing . Beautiful build and one of your top builds

the case doesnt look anything like a rolex oyster case. i really wish bulova would stay away from homages, as they are beautiful and accessible time pieces themselves.

These were made over 25 years ago, good thing is they used eta movements just like the solid gold croton day date.
Bulova super seville is the best to do the homage to day date and datejust.
Sandoz made a decent homage. Bulovas sub homage is pretty collectable.

Used to be but now I collect Omega. You can’t beat a nice vintage Seamaster or pie pan Constellation for looks and wearability.
