Incorrect as the lyrics shown in this video may be, the line "I trying to dry my sole" does make a hell of a lot of sense. And by the way, sole is most definitely a word. It means the bottom part of one's shoe. Ergo, it makes sense that he would say "I trying to dry my sole," as the line that follows is, "I tired of this life on a dirt road." As in he's trying to get the dirt off his shoes. Maybe try to open your mind a bit before you start insulting others' intelligence next time, whaddaya say?

I always thought it was "I trying to drown my soul," because he's obviously at a bar drinking to cope with his problems, but "I trying to dry my sole" actually makes sense too because of the line that follows (I'm tired of this life on a dirt road.)

@TeamEdward70 i dunno how old you are, but after you get a certain age you realize that EVERYBODY is hated by SOMEBODY. everybody out there isn't your friend because we're all different and appreciate different things (or you just pissed them off). every celebrity has their fans the same way they all have haters. normal people are like that too, just not as intense; that's why we all have friends and enemies.

But I've been listening to their old stuff (Back when Joe was still attractive) and I have to say they're not that bad. At least when they started out. Won't hear me openly supporting the new one.
