I actually believed after reading the program list that this group was gonna be performing an arrangement of “Cruel Summer” by Taylor Swift and that that was a clue, foreshadowing something to come in the near future… 😶… ? Then I heard and it was nothing close to it lol… Is that positive outlook on living or life to get on here and post that, targeting a specific age group or is that considered simply disrespectful to the composer and group? Thoughts? Help??? The main reason for asking is because I’ve heard that Taylor Swift song recently on the radio a lot and have grown accustomed to the lyrics and music! The euphonium player was amazing btw! Swift fingering and great agility! It reminded me of a fancy “flight of the bumblebee”:) Respect. 💙

Just had this piece put in front of our Band. Enjoyed your playing. Hope we can do as well with it. Makes a change from Rimmer and the other UK marches. Just have to remember the usual criticism "English brass bands just cannot "do" swing tempo !! "..

My jazz band might be playing this for our next Jazz Fest. I'm really hoping we do, because I would love to play this on trombone. I'm also in a production of Jungle Book right now, so it would be really freaking cool.
