He deserves it, though the movie wasnt so good at all (with that bad ending), I have to admit the combination of all his techniques made a so different movie format we haven't seen so much on cinema. Guess Lars is not always a plot, its like ballet, allegorical and beauty. Hope he don't give up from making films

I really look forward to this movie.. I just hope i don't puke while watching it, cause this sounds like a kill fest i've never seen before.. But then again, can i see Hostle then i can see this movie.. But not sure if i want to watch it in the cinemas.

There are always movies that grab headlines, for people walking out, at Cannes. Lars Von Trier has been around this block many times now. It's always over exaggerated, when reported. People at Cannes will boo anything.

very good film....i think because ..its not the normal, beauty, good looks, and make up... no real martial arts.... just a pissed off bloke .......sorting out the bad guys.....

Only got round to watching this the other night, still thinking about it now. Excellent Film. Main actor was superb.

Watched this a while ago. It was pretty damn psychotic, and I loved it!

i love the soundtrack to this movie, it fits perfectly well and its very upbeat and tensing.

Brilliant film, one of the best revenge flicks I ever seen. Went down a treat at the Dublin Horrorthon festival.

That is my favorite revenge movie ever. It had it flaws but the intensity was amazing. I absolutely love it.

Great. Sure it is not a Hollywood-A-Movie. It has really good acting - I was impressed. But sure it s really brutal - in a realitstic way - but ist es not a slasher-movie

To see a great revenge scene, watch "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo". This girl gets sexually exploited by her Parole Officer/Trustee, & then raped by him on another occasion . However, she secretly videotaped the rape as leverage against him. Later, she shows up at his apartment, overpowers him, ties him up, forces him to watch the video, & then sloppily tattoos "I am a rapist and a sadistic pig" in huge letters on his chest & stomach!

Watched last night. Awesome and gripping film.

ehrm? it dont look awful. its common to use hand held camera for action. i like revenge movies, 'harry brown' is a must see. not seen this yet.

This is one of the best revenge movies ever made hands down. It's also watch on demand on Netflix.

Just saw this film. It was one of the most satisfyingly brutally violent movies ever. If you like serious ass kicking then this film is for you. 10 stars!
