I love watching your videos, I think I have a little crush on you, yeah I hope you don't find it weird, I just love your reviews haha that's it. you once shared a booktok video with Shuggie Bain on it and you made me buy it, I couldn't wait for my copy to arrive haha. also, mixed reviews are mixed reviews, I love Circe, I think it's kinda slow and a bit boring in the beginning but as you delve deep further reading the book it's interesting and it's fascinating to see how the world evolves in Circe's eyes - the years, the stories, and everything- and feel to experience and see another meaning of what was love, sacrifices, and if what happened to Circe was a blessing or a curse. I think I have typed so much. Hahaha

hi. as a pulitzer prize collector here, im a bit disappointed that u never read almost of the books that u were trying to review, as i was expecting a thorough review for each book. nevertheless, a great collection though (ultimate fave book here is Oscar Wao- loved the magical realism infused in this comic book, and my least favorite here is the slow-burnimg/intimidating The Goldfinch)..... btw. used to travel from an island province to cebu booksale stores in order to "treasure-hunt" pulitzer-winning and finalists books (as well as US vogue magazines). sad to know that all of the booksale stores there are now closed 😭🥺.....

Booksale rocks! Naging to go place na namin ng kapatid ko everytime we're going out. Imagine for the price of 120 pesos, may 6 books ka na, shempre before namin bilhin chinecheck muna namin yung story and the Goodreads ratings :D The longest hours that we've been there was 2 and half hours hehe Hoping Booksale won't close down for good.
