Dunlop Joe Bonamassa Wah Pedal-Demo

Just got this pedal yesterday, so I thought that I'd do a quick demo with the iPhone. I'm already in love with this particular wah. Sound is straight off of the mic on the phone. Enjoy! :-)

Family Jamming on "One Horse Town"/Blackberry Smoke
the timing on that intro messed with me til i heard butch explain it
He’s the man. Love his style
Damn, that's a sweet-soundiing wah...
He makes it look so easy. Loose.....nice.
legend
Lizzy. Jazz Waltz. Purdy Shuffle. Funky.
what song was Butch referencing when he said they were going twice as fast
I like the sound of a HALO inductor & almost bought this wah. It was between the Cantrell & the Bonamassa wah….. then I disvovered the 65 Custom Badass which has a HALO inductor & a Red Fasel inductor both…& has the toe down frequency control (like the Cantrell) on BOTH inductor channels as well as LED indicators which for me are kinda important…. So, thats what Ive got coming from REVERB in a week…. I just hope it sounds as good as the Bonamassa on the HALO mode (or close)….. You made a great choice my friend… for lead expression the HALO has the vocal resonance that Im lookin for…I don't venture into the chuka, chuka shaft type of playing much.. Amazing how most people DONT now how to demo a wah…. You however, have it figured out…good for you!
WELL DONE, GOOD JOB
He’s not even looking when he’s playing cause he was so used to it by that point. RIP Butch, Dickey and Jaimoe are the only ones left.
I miss butch and the abb ! Fuck it’s been a rough 5 years in the world of music
The greats make it look easy...........................
Reminds me of the drumming in “Take 5” by Dave Brubeck
Joe Morello
Wow, what a tremendous sound and feel! Now add Jaimoe! The wall of drums driving the Allmans made them the best (of them all, as Bill Graham said).
This is an incredible treat of a video. Thank you for posting this
Wish you were still around!
The ease at which he's playing this is amazing it's like he's not even thinking or paying attention and he just whips out these fills in his sleep that are absolutely amazing. This was obviously taken with the phone and yet the sound is gargantuan. Just amazingly full and brutal drumming. Not to insult any fellow RUclipsrs who went to the work and effort to put up their drum covers of the song, but there just simply isn't any comparison. Butch, you da man! I couldn't help but start laughing my butt off when he started singing the melody.
His only claim to fame
Man, in between all the no doubt wild & hard living of the Allman Bros. - you can see why Butch Trucks was one heck of a good & talented drummer - perfect sound for the band too - a great band - great drummer(s)
I miss him
very good stuff. Idef see where he is going with this beat. love the off beats on the hi-hat
DUDE!!!! Great lesson!!!
Butch was such a good dude too man! You would've liked him , He was funny as shit!!
Every drummer should watch this, at least any drummer who wants to play music with me, Damn Butch I miss you brother
So fucking amazing
The story of getting lost on stage was so cool to me. Here was Butch Trucks - a human metronome - losing the 1 on stage. With as much experience as he had, he still needed help. Such a cool story. And a damn shame about what happened to him.
Flam Accent #1. I see it Butch. RIP.
R.I.P. Butch....The road goes on forever ~
That is SO COOL.Thanks for posting James.
RIP
you will be missed...a joy to watch and listen to. i was a drummer for 12 years..and u were an insperation and one of the reasons I took up the sticks...thx Mr. trucks and god bless. Billy o
Rest in peace Butch Trucks.
If anyone knows where I could get the tabs for this, that'd be super helpful! love the vid, I just need a bit o help with it
Get off the computer, Milo! :-)
My name is Milo Biehn
So fine!
great job
Blackberry Smoke t-shirt!
I can't say how much Butch helped me last year! I feel I have improved so much in the past months since attending RRR! Anyone thinking of going to RRR next year should totally go! You don't have to play an instrument to go by the way!! Come hang with incredible musicians, eat three meals a day with them, get to know their families, associated people from the Allman World...are you kidding me?? This will be the best thing you ever did in your life if you love this music!! Get there June 14 !!
very cool Butch was such a kind man
awesome demo! thanks for sharing!
Nice support
