Although i love this game and while it is a bit dad they don't really develop the p4 cast much more it kinda makes sense, this happens 2 months after the game and they've all just went through their development, Yu and Adachi are the only 2 persona 4 characters who actually develop/characterize in this game (Yu getting amazing characterization and Adachi amazing development) While the p3 cast has had alot happen over the last 2 years so we can see them and how the events of p3 have really changed them long term unlike the p4 cast due to it being so soon after the game (also Yu and Elizabeths interaction and the way Yu was able to show her the answer she needed is one of the best interactions in the entire franchise imo)

A new Persona 4 Arena video? Time to recommend Teddie's story mode to people! Teddie's story is one of the vest ones in the first Arena. It has a unique intro in comparison to the other P4 stories and Labrys is right there with him most of the story so if you're a Labrys fan this mode is perfect. They have such a sweet dynamic where Teddie vows to protect her and he takes his loyalty incredibly seriously, every time she's upset he picks up on it and is able to cheer her up more times than any other character. Teddie also takes the time to reveal what he is and be emotionally vulnerable about his own struggles so by the time the shadow confrontation happens they already have a strong sense of trust between them that makes the conclusion even more satisfying. Watching Teddie still struggle with a lot of his issues from P4 even after accepting himself made him a very sympathetic protagonist as he pushes aside his own emotional exhaustion to care of Labrys. Lots of funny moments, too, because it IS still Teddie's mode. Funny, sweet, and engaging. Vote Teddie for the best knight in fluffy armor!

P4A series is definitely my favorite of the spinoffs. I love the first games take on using it to show how each character has grown since their respective games, which shine in their respective stories. Especially my boy Yosuke. For real his is so good they use it as the basis for the arena manga. With a little of Yu, Aigis and of course Labrys in there. Plus his interactions with her are cute in the game. While I do agree that the P3 side of Ultimax is better plot wise with that cast being heavily involved in Sho’s storyline and Labrys. I think the P4 side is stronger with its themes bonds and friendship. I also honestly like how they even give the P4 villain some character development. That makes them feel more like a character and not an edgy nihilist,

0:42 Maybe that’s because it’s main audience is teenagers, not adults. Just because you play it, and the people you see online playing it are adults, doesn’t mean you are the target. Also, like ten seconds later you site 3 and 4 as the reason the series skyrocketed into popularity. I mean come on. Obviously it was 5. It was still mostly niche before then, and 5 sold ridiculously more than its predecessors.

I hard disagree on the P4 cast not having good storylines. Rise getting to fight was amazing along with the whole interaction with Elizabeth. The teddie, kanji and yukiko scene is one of the funniest scenes in the whole persona franchise. There were a lot of great moments

I thought I would clear up some stuff regarding Sho and his other personality. I completely missed the mark, and I apologize for overlooking it. In actuality, the other personality is another PERSON. That person calls himself Minazuki, and he was born from the Plume of Dusk that the Kirijo Group put in Sho. It's the same device Aigis and Labrys have that gives them personality to artificially awaken to a Persona (more reason why I love Labrys and Sho's interaction in the P3 side). Minazuki protected him from the group's abuse and, in a way, was his first friend, his first bond. NEXT PART IS SPOILERS FOR P4AU: 12:00 What Minazuki meant by "their" wish is he wanted to grant both Sho's and Hi-No-Kagutsuchi's wish to destroy the world and create a new one. He would do anything to make the boy happy. Hi-No was a separate entity who used Sho as a vessel, NOT the other personality. Once Yu beats Hi-No, he disappears along with Minazuki, which leads Sho to awaken his own Persona. If there is anything else I missed, feel free to reply here. I love P4AU's story so much, and I want to give it the respect it deserves. Thank you to those who clarified Sho's background and development for me. It has been a while since I played the story lmao.

Hi no Kagatsuchi was not Sho's other personality. Minazuki is totally separate and actually cares about Sho. Kagatsuchi is just using him.

17:06 Not actually. See, they first made a Sailor Moon fighting game back on the Super Famicom back in GOD knows how long ago, and a Fist of the North Star game on the PS2 in 2005. Both of which being Japanese exclusive, and both of which being HORRIBLY busted. So yeah, it's safer to say that it's their first outing making a fighting game based on a beloved franchise, and having it actually release worldwide. Granted, it's still absolutely insane at high levels, even with the 2.0 patch that came with the re-release, but yeah, it's nowhere near as busted as the former 2 games.

I think even a few seconds later you can read the dialogue where he says "that isn't strictly correct" at 12:01 Labrys, Aigis, and all the other robot people have a thing called a "plume of dusk" which is like their robot core and gives them their personality. Sho was an orphan who was experimented on by Shuji Ikutsuki who is spoilers: the twist villain of persona 3. They wanted to artificially give Sho a persona, so they implanted a plume of dusk in his head. It didnt give Sho a persona, isntead it gave him a second person entirely who we call Minazuki. Sho isn't just a silly guy with mental issues and two personalities, he is a guy with another person in his head. 14:03 ermmm, axcshuallyyy 🤓 This is wrong. Yes, general teddie did turn out to be hi-no-kagutsuchi. He was also the one who gave Minazuki the power to do that glowy eye freeze people thing... But he is NOT Minazuki. Sho was angry, and hates everyone because y'know, grew up in a lab, edgy backstory etc. hi-no-kagutsuchi approached him one day like "yo, if you hate everything, wanna destroy the world?" Sho agreed because is mentally unstable, and Minazuki's only goal is to help Sho. Thats what Minazuki meant by "I only want to grant their wish.." hes saying he just wants to help Sho get what he wants. (Which thanks to some angst and manipulation from hi no kagutsussy, is to end the world.) Don't get me wrong this is a great video!!! Its funny and I definitely want more spotlight on this game so we get more players!!! But as the no#1 mentally deranged Sho Minazuki stan, i will not allow people to misunderstand his character!!

I keep referring to this game's story mode as "Dragon Ball meets Mario Party", and I've always liked it for being the most creative story mode compared to just about every other DBZ game made since that have pretty much always retold the same story mode over and over again. Among the few things the game did improve on over Budokai 1 that I've appreciated is that they reduced Goku's Kaio-ken forms (or King Kai Fist as the first 2 games called it) to just one, cuz Budokai 1 gave Goku three Kaio-ken/King Kai Fist forms that made his Super Saiyan form nearly impossible to maintain as a result and even made him stronger than SS2 Gohan in the game, which makes total sense, heh. Of course, they probably just did that in Budokai 2 since Goku also gets his SS2 and 3 forms in the game.

The forgotten sequel actually is Infinite World, this was Budokai 4. 3 but just better gameplay.

When Budokai 1 released that was the first time hearing the Funimation dub of the Saiyan arc. It wasn't until 2004 or 5 with the ultimate uncut edition of DBZ that Funimation could then dub the anime. something about pioneer or ocean having the rights at the time, i think.

I've never thought Renderware's could be the reason the game has been in Port Oblivion; it truly makes sense, but in the bright side, that means that the ONLY way for the game to resurface would be on an engine remake AT THE VERY LEAST. Destroying half of its flaws. I cannot stop myself from hyping like Charmy spamming the flight button over this strictly hypothetical situation! Heroes in Unreal! A-ha!

I really love this game. I played it a lot as a kid and I beat it 100% again one month ago. Still one of my favorite Sonic games to this day even though I can still see its flaws. 11:54 Yes. You have to use the speed character (Sonic or Shadow) and hold down the B button intead of mashing it. That way you get enough speed to bypass the giant laser without getting hit

There are some more things that can help the player in the game. - A homing attack at level 3 can dearmor enemies with shields and helmets and allows you to grab poles more quickly. It can also blow out torches. Combining this and the triple homing attack with your mates can kill some shield enemies in one single hit. - The rocket accel can do the same thing at level 0 including the torches. If you hold enough B or press it once, your allies will come behind you. Letting the button go or press it a second time gives you a softer accel that is easier to control. Pressing again gives you a harder accel that gives you a lot more speed which can be useful if combined with high jumps or the glide. It can also make you unvulnerable against enemies. - The tornado as Sonic or Shadow can practically give you a double jump and gets attracted by enemies nearby. Using it wisely can lead to interesting shortcuts. It can also make you unvulnerable against enemies. - The kick as Sonic or Shadow lets you glide over a pit for almost a second. You can still make a jump during the animation in the air. Good for shortcuts, too. It can also make you unvulnerable against enemies. - If the game sometimes feels too fast, jumping in the air and turning around helps to brake. - Fly at level 2 kills enemies. Keep flying to make your mates fly around longer. Level 3 attracts rings from distance. Level 1 just stuns multiple enemies instead of one. - The thunder shoot goes further while flying up. It can help for targets. Using it also stops the meter by a third second from draining. - When your stick is neutral, your Power chracter will move only very little. - Pressing Team Blast as Team Sonic gives access to the Light Speed Attack. Pressing B mid air kills every enemy nearby including Armored Egg Hammers. Tails and Knuckles can also use this effect to kill enemies with one hit. - Pressing B inside the canon as Power lets you leave the canon without shooting. Just in case someone didn't know that. - Not intentional but pressing X and Y repeatedly as Spped and Power while holding B on grind rails makes accelerating faster as it skips and replays the crouch animation.Then you hold B when the speed cap is reached. - Jumping while holding B in the Special Stages allows you to jump over bombs with the same amount of speed. Power and Fly are especially useful. However you might let go the B button and hold it again after landing.

When grinding if u hold down the grind button instead of tapping it, u go faster. So fast that in the final fortress lvl, u can avoid some of the lasers before they even fire, and this includes the final giant laser too. It’s the same for the special stages, don’t spam the boost button, hold it down
