Where did Rodgers get that voice? I saw him with a cigarette! Did he take lessons? He would have had to do it very young because he was very good as early as Free. I don't think lessons were in the cards. He was just given a gift naturally and kept using it. What a gift.
A gem of a documentary. Brian has all the instincts to make these work. And Paul, what can you say? He's on that Mount Rushmore of vocalists along with Freddie, Robert, and very few others. I'm beginning to think Brian is on that mountain too.
Angel of the North thank you so much for posting this short film with our dear Paul Rodgers.. P.S. I live in the south but my soul belong to north.. Many greetings to you Mica 🙂🐕🐾🌻
A few things, a gentleman like Brian "forgot" mentioning: 1. First of all: the biggest Muddy Waters fan in the world is Angus Young. But since Angus lives the way "dont ever meet your heroes" he never played session like Slash and the likes who I'm sure they are not the big blues fans Angus is. 2. Shortly before Kossof died he anounced a tour with a band called AC/DC. They were even waiting on the airport for him to start on the road. 3. His mate and third drummer of AC/DC the late great Chris Slade was Firms drummer for all two albums. Thanks a lot.
Paul has a great voice.. No doubt.. But every song in every band he is in is exactly the same song... Its about a woman.. How can pussy be on a persons mind 24/7 365 decade after decade.. Good lord man 🙄
I had tickets to see Queen live at the Stanley theatre in Pittsburgh. Got there and a sign on the window of the ticket booth said refunds available. Queen will not being playing tonight. Freddy Mercury has laryngitis. Kansas will be replacing them. Kansas has one album out I think, maybe two and we had never heard of them but Styx was an opener so we stayed. We all bought Kansas albums when we got home and were glad we stayed. I always wanted to see Bad Company but that never happened. I worked as an IATSE stagehand all of my life and a lot of concerts but no Bad Company ever. The last time they toured the states, maybe 6 years ago I was going to go but learned the Mick Ralphs would not cross the pond anymore. So I didn't go. Bad enough Boz was gone. I'm sure it would have been good but I really wanted to see Paul and Mick and it just never happened. 😔
Paul Rogers married 1984 Miss Canada winner and fitness expert Cynthia Kereluk. She hosted a health and fitness TV show called Every Day Workout for several years starting in the mid-1980's. They were living in Canada last I heard.
Brian could & probably would tag along & interview anyone in any walk of life, trucker, factory assembler, pizza deliverer, whatever and make them feel and look like the most special people on earth doing the most interesting things.
Paul Rodgers, seems like a really down to earth guy! So very blessed! 🙏 Great interview!
This mans catalog is insane
I like everting about this except there’s too many freaking commercials❗️🇺🇸
Loving me some Paul Rodgers

Paul is like top 5 greatest rock voices in history
In no particular order: Paul Rodgers Ian Gillan Freddie Chris Cornell And out of left field... Ian Astbury

Paul Rogers is the Frank Sinatra of Rock music. He's the standard other singers are measured by.
Exactly. Met him backstage at BBKings. Told him those EXACT WOORDS.
The Geordie and the Smoggie.
These ads are ridiculous

Paul Rogers' yea great , ..couldn't sing acdc tho
Why would he need to? Brian and Bon, both who I love, couldn't sing Paul's material.

What a voice

I love alot of soul and r&b singers and for me Paul is in that group hands down!
Loved these shows
I don’t know if I’ve ever seen two living legends have so much fun together before
brain johnson cool guy.
This man has got an excellent memory ! 😁

She handles his merchandising at his shows and it all goes to animal charities
@@bobl6139Awesome!!!
'The Hunter' was written by the great Booker T Jones and Steve Cropper.
Cracking chap .. favourite singer since forever.
Imagine Brian Johnson releasing a solo album? Who's going to write the songs?
Himself. He stopped writing songs for AC/DC after the BUYV album.
Lucky for them to have Peter Grant as manager. Also manager for Led Zeppelin. Great guy!
he's still alive??
Saw Bad Company's first ever gig at Charlton F.C. in 74 supporting the Who...
Great singer, magnificent when he was front man for Queen. Great DVD look it up.
Can you believe Bad Company isnt in the rock and roll hall of fame?!!??
They're not a rap group you know...
Indeed the HOF has as much credibility as the Grammy awards sadly!
The R&RHOF is a joke!!!
Bad Co. does not give a shit about the rock and roll hall of lame and the bureaucracy behind it. The fans know the truth and that is all that matters.
Are you kidding me?? Oh..THAT"S IT
Good Old mate Brian
Two kick @ss rock singers. Both legends.
Do more of these, Brian.🤘
andy fraser was a genius !
Yes he was.
Love it guys 👍😊🙏
Wow, made me cry by the end. Last concert I went to with my wife was Paul Rodgers. She loved him and she looked as good as Cynthia.
I saw Free way back in '72 what a great rock and roll band.
Holy Shit those voices together is Nirvana
Brian could & probably would tag along & interview anyone in any walk of life, trucker, factory assembler, pizza deliverer, whatever and make them feel and look like the most special people on earth doing the most interesting things.
Brian is such a cool and funny guy.
Love Brian....
Brian😊
sacrilege maybe .....but i prefer rodgers voice to mercurys
Yep better than Mercury !!
❤
I absolutely agree.
Both amazing vocalists...
Interesting how some of these larger then life personalities can be more down to earth, than the guy that makes you coffee at Starbucks
Sadly I cant say this about Paul Rogers. Gigged with him and he was pretty unfriendly. He also could have been having a bad day.
Brian is the exception for the saying “never meet your heroes”.
It hasn't got that many views
No because it's good and not some silly garbage.
Cool
Thank you for sharing this.
