You can find little white birch drops in some spots around them map if you explore the wilderness. Else you can find newspaper in points of interest or you can craft tinder once you get a knife & a short stick. =)

Yes, you can find certain buildings that allow you to claim it as a base and build facilities in it for production of resources or help to survive. You can also rescue and recruit NPC's to join your community and later we'll have missions and all sorts of cool systems! =)

I hear what you're saying but this is an entirely custom made game over 2.5 years of super hard work. And asset flip is something entirely different. Here we just legally use some art packs because we don't have an artist on the team nor the budget to hire one. We work for free. =P Most of the small indie games you see all use art packs too including some of the bigger games out there even use lots of unreal market place assets. For many of us it's the only way we could make a game.

We've spent the last 2.5 years making this game custom. We use some asset art models, the game's infrastructure is mostly custom. =) An asset is designed to be used in this exact way. To give developers who can't afford a 200k artist salary to have a chance to make a game. We work for free mostly and have invested everything to make this game. An asset flip is when someone takes a pack or two and ships out the demo scene with other asset systems with little to no work. Hints the word flip. IF we're making an asset flip, we've spent the last 2.5 years taking way too long.

No plans as of yet. We'll consider viable options down the line once the PC is stable. =)

No, its a more realistic take at a mass viral pandemic grid down world event. So it's more like the long dark meets the division or deadside style. Focused on humans, factions, conflicts and communities. We have wild animals that function a bit like zombies though which are deadly =P
