This is the closing concert to the week long Orchestral Conducting Masterclass/Academy with Maestro Martin Åkerwall and the Belgrade Chamber Orchestra. I had such a great time getting to know many great musicians from Belgrade, Serbia and many fellow conductors a part of the masterclass.

Hello friend, I greet you from the land of France, I would like to play this song. Where can I get sheet music for the drum?
It is a compilation of multiple versions of yankee doodle. The first is from Cushing's 1808 Fifers Companion, the 2nd is the same at a faster tempo, and the 3rd version is from Elias Howe's 1861 Fife and Drum instructor for the US Army and Navy. Fun fact: I am currently doing a deep dive in the French fife and drum duty music. I am learning the beats from the French 1754 ordinance for Drums. I am planning to attend Waterloo in 2025 as a drummer with the French 9e Light Infantry.

It's called a Fife. It is a 6 hole wooden intrument much like a piccolo. Found here at beafifer.com

@Bluegrass Banjo They can run anywhere from $300 to $3000. Cooperman also sells them, and there are often used ones on the internet.
