Wait, didn't thylacines not have any natural predators?
they did but it also depends on what part of there existence we are talking about. During the last pleistocene period thylacine would have been preyed upon by the various megafaunal predators such as megalania, wonombi, thylacoleo, quikana etc. However after they went extinct the thylacine was the largest native land predator and likely only been hunted by the occasional crocodile by the river side. Then when the thylacine went extinct on mainland Australia they persisted in tasmania where there were no crocodiles to speak of thus making them the largest carnivore on the island period.
@FactutainmentNaturalHistory So an apex predator in tasmania?
@@Sunflower-v4t pretty much yeah
Leopards do not hunt lions
asiatic lions and indian leopards hunt and kill one another on an infrequent but not uncommon basis
@@FactutainmentNaturalHistory Ain't lions bigger then leopards??
@@hyena_fan yes. But just because something is bigger than something else doesnt mean its immune to being predated by it. falcons regularly kill geese, crocodiles kill and eat buffalo, some spiders catch birds in there webs and then kill and eat them.
i work at a bar named bluefoot🤓
neat
Thanks
thank you for the support

Quick tip: breathe dude. Dont verbally vomit every bit of the script in the same breath. I can tell you're reading, which makes me lose interest. Edit your audio: edit out your stutters, cut out your sighs. Make the delivery of every word interesting and fun. I really like nature videos, that's why i clicked on this video. Also the tittle caught my atenttion. But man please don't let your vid feel like a boring lecture. Add some backgroud music, throw a pun here and there. My favorite nature channel is Zefrank, I really recommend him for inspiration. Im not trying to be rude with this comment. I can tell this channel is small and you're just begining with it. Its just a few tips to make the video more fun to watch.
we tried doing background music at one point but ran into the problem of getting constantly copyright claimed despite it being royalty free music
@FactutainmentNaturalHistory fair enough. ID suggest to just keep looking for backround music thats free to use. I see a lot of potential on this channel and something along the lines or a passion for animals. I'll sub with great expectation :D

the village in Pakistan?
The thylacine is social??!!
from reports at the time it was still alive it seems they frequently traveled in pairs or small groups. However loners were also very much a thing.
@@FactutainmentNaturalHistory so somewhat like coyotes??
@@hyena_fan kinda
@@FactutainmentNaturalHistory what ya mean by kinda??
