Consider playing the following cards to raise consistency. 3x Pots of Prosp. 3x Foolish Burial Goods/1x Ice Barrier. 3x Ready Fusion/1x Instant Fusion with Allvain, Rare Fish and Theseus in the ED. (note: not everything has to be included, but consistency boosting goes a long way.) Princess makes you go -1 when ash'd. Replace Princess with Mermaid Shark which searches Abyss and then searches Lifeless, then you'll keep a body for link plays. Consider running crossout in main or side, can be used as engine for the ghoti tuners. Other than that, solid list. Everything else is personal preference. Fishborg Harpooner came out last set, it's a solid extender. Mermaid Shark will be replaced by Surfacing Big Jaws once that card will be released in the TCG. Surfacing Big Jaws is a one card toad.

Hey! New here. I'm glad you're sticking with sharks, specially coming from ghoti I can tell you can miss some things in this one! Ghoti can flow so well (I play both too, while ghoti is my fav, in terms of experience sharks is my main). Sharks can lack consistency soemtimes so you really need to put foreign boosters for that: FBG and Ice barrier for abyss->starters if you didn't see them, prosperity, maxing ratios and simplifying choices to use desires... So yeah! even tho the deck is kind of unflexible (locks into xyz, water...) there's room for choices, and the way you build your ED can shape your main (at least that's the focus I use sometimes, this ED is meant to be a toolbox). Some advices you may find useful: - FBG and Ice barrier, as you saw, locks you two turns, so F0, superpoly packs,...are usually uncompatible, so you devote on a more water focused deck (check n.a.s.h. packs with 101 and 103, etc.). Good thing is that it gets an easy access to gameciel! Xyz revive splash is another great target for FBG that can get a lvl5 xyz into wave king caesar! - Nib is a tricky choice in this deck cause it's dead if you're also using FBG-IceB (again, the lock), and also it kills abyss, which is the main extender and hardly the only searcher. FBG usually pairs better with just HP like ash-veiler-imper (I like the three playset ratio in this one), or boardbreakers like dropplets (which can also take bricks out of the hand if you draw the trap, right hand shark if you're playing him, etc). - If you want a more diverse ED, there are several turbo F0 recipes, generally maxing starters (buzzsaw, lifeless, even 2 tuna+OFO). The best F0 pack allows you to summon him with just buzzsaw although it takes space in the ED. I have mixed feelings with desires tho, and those recipes burn resources REALLY fast, so I'm not a huge fan... Those recipes take hand traps better, they're really resilient. - Monsters you may wanna check from the ED appart from the stapples in this deck (bahamut, toad, number 4 and its spawns, dweller) are the mentioned n.a.s.h. knight, 101, 103, c101 if you wanna go the c.n.a.s.h. knight way, valiant shark, crooked cook (...the dishonored way), superpoly pack, dugares, other generic rank 4. Numbers are useful for your crystal and abyss level change effects, plus if you consider prospe, you may want to invest in diversity+expendable slots (also knowing your position, for example going second a bahamut or a toad are less valuable! Too slow). - Don't underestimate dugares! It can unbrick a hand if you draw the xyz cards or the barriers. It's one of the few lines that can't block a nibiru tho. Also, it can re-use a GY starter. - This decks works with two card combos: buzz and abyss, buzz and remora,... to get 4 interruptions. 3 card combos can get you 5 (buzz, abyss, remora; buzz, remora, white mirror...). You can really have fun with this one. Stay sharp! Also, Daddyshark is a great shark youtuber, you should check him and his facebook group!

Deck is gas but I'm surprised at no Designator. Card is engine and protection in one.

I'm interested in Ghoti because of Master Duel but couldn't get the cards IRL yet😅 the guy at the shop wanted more than $20 for the full deck. I get it but damn y'all open booster boxes and should be sitting on Stacks and shouldn't have a problem offloading a small cut for like a $20

Nah bruh, ur right on runick ghoti just not being it. They have lots of interaction, are easy to start up and make your deep beyond huge but, runick just doesn't let you swing in for game and deep beyond banishes the field spell. It can be surprisingly awkward.

im playing spright ghoti, its fun to play and it works in most scenarios

Why don't you use the field spell? I also recently built a Ghoti deck and I noticed the field card is not that important, the deck still works without it. But I would like to know your opinion. I personally consider one copy is fine.
