Hmm I think you need to increase your ATK by equipping protocores with high ATK% and flat ATK substats. Some +0 protocore with ATK% and flat ATK, can outdamage +9 protocores. What's your current atk?

It's the enemy with red aura around it, that spawns a little delayed than the other wanderers per wave. There are 3 frenzies 0:23 (humanoid), 1:07 (triceratops), and 1:59 (little dragon) . You need to kill them within 20secs to gain the damage buff. Luckily in this version 2.0 update, they fixed the issue of targeting enemies. Just click pause on the upper left corner > settings > manual mode. So that you can click on the frenzy you want to kill fast.

Charged atk deals spread damage, i mainly use it when there is a group of wanderer in front of me. I also use it when their shields are down.
