I Feel Jahiera's behaviour to arun Linveil is adequate. The Shadow Thieves are basically just the mafia, they behave and act and do bad stuff just like the mafia. Your team has taken down far worse, gone against insurmountable odds and are siding with the worst of the worst and they still play games with you by not getting you to irenicus and your sister immediatly. I normally play a wild mage, and in such situation they'd be lucky I held myself back not to release some wild magic. But regardless its good to show that you can at least bark to such criminals so they know not to play games with you, as RP wise you have no idea if they are using you for their own gains and just scammed you, so best to let them know that while you will assist them, they better give you what you want.

Installing a SCS difficulty mod then essentially cheating yourself a million gold basically cancels out any supposed challenge the mod has created. The start of the game is based on questing to make money to progress the game too, may as well use console commands to finish quests.. At least it happened early in the playthrough.

I put this on in the background to listen to while doing some yoga (Mivsan has a very calm voice). The unexpected comic relief from the mention of "clown world party" and "It's just tradition at this point to have things wrong in the manuals" jeopardized a couple of the poses. Literal lol.

just watched episode 0 and i nearly threw up in the character introduction XD Very interested in how this is going to play out :) Your Invoker is actually really good compared to the rest. Is this a biased situation? Some dialogues are actually voiced, not sure if this was done in later patches.

Whoa dude. This stuff is *bloody* perfect. You inspired me to start anew as well, take it slow, read everything, pay attention to details and really *roll* a party. [I didn't want to gimp myself THAT much, 5 Dex? No way.] So I let myself reroll TWICE, but *not* recall. So take it, or reroll and take whatever I get. I ended up with a fairly gimped cleric, but a 94 score on my ranger! Pro tip: IWDEE portraits require your naming conventions to have L and M at the end to be *capitalized*, unlike BGEE. So have your large portrait for the record page with the full body at 410*660 and name it xxxL.bmp, crop around the face to 210*330 and name it xxxM.bmp, and now you have a better recognisable portrait in-game, with the full image on the record page! You seem like the sort of person that appreciates that, like I do :)

I'm still watching, but want to add my cents as I go: PURIST: Dual wielding is actually *way* too powerful for IWD, considering the equipment you find. Two Flails that boost Physical Resist AND Armour Class, for example. Or, not one but TWO Long Swords of Action +4. Dual wielding those puts a level one pure thief at 4APR! ad Oh, you said that. Ah, you actually know your stuff, that's fair enough. I'm gonna shut up. No-Reload IWD? Go go go. Edit as I go along: PALADIN: Ha! Thirty per cent consist of Undead? More like seventy. All of the Vale sans some Yetis and a cleric, second level of Dragon's Eye is all undead, All of the Hand of the Seldarine is Undead, Dorn's Deep is all undead, the.. Island in HoW is all undead, first two levels of ToTL castle is all undead plus the crypt of Helm. However, when it comes to Power-Paladin, the Cavalier is probably better for IWD. It's immune to all the most devastating things, fear, poison, charm and resistant to acid and fire which are super common. Undead Hunters are good because of the damage, but their primariy thing is negative plane protection.... Except level Drain doesn't happen in IWD, so that's entirely wasted. Cavvies get that same damage bonuses, but instead of getting that for the mooks, they get it for the big bosses; Demons and Dragons. Inquisitors are kind of shit in BG2, but in IWD they just mean you can dispel everything in the whole game. There's no mandatory Ruby Rays and Breach - you can build your wizard exactly like you want [although, enchantment is kind of wasted due to the Undead] I'm surpised you didn't mention this, but... Dwarven Defender is hands down the toughest fighter in IWD, he cannot be beat. Axes are hands down the best pick for weapons, so there is absolutely no downside to them. You can *easily* get them outright immune to physical damage, so your dwarf can just tank entire armies without breaking a sweat.

HEY! I’ve been following this walkthrough and I just wanted to remember everyone that you can deal with the Doomsayer by triggering him and then walking to Brage. Do not let him talk to you, just make them cross paths and they’ll fight, and then you can do the finishing blow to earn the EXP. and still talk to Brage ;)

I'm very happy to see this playthrough is happening! I played along while watching your BG trilogy and will do the same for this once it is complete. You have the most thorough playthrough with excellent commentary and explanations on BG and I was a little sad when it was over, haha.

How do I install the basic classic pre-nerf poison weapon override mod it's an SPL that someone said had ot go into an override folder?

24:09 Golddigger is the best two hander in the game if you have a proper evil team and for some reason wanted to run Dorn. (19 strenght gives you +3 thac0 and +7 dmg. Add to that +4 from the blade and you end up with +11 dmg a hit. Not to shabby is it) The 10gold a pop is completely irrelevant this deep in the game, apart from arrows of dispell there is nothing expensive you need to buy to finish the game - you can easily afford the couple of k the digger will cost you.

Never managed this part of the fight. At least not on insane. I never have allies here because i dont like bodhi and balthasar. And Sarevok joins the final fight on melissans side

With all that damage resistance Demon Wraith makes for a great target for Imprisonment.

Speaking of polymorphing and wild magic, that thiefling room always reminds me of the time when my shapeshifter triggered a wild surge by shapeshifting, and everyone in the area shifted into a werewolf form. Who keeps company with the wolf will learn to howl, or some such.

I love everything in the videos but it's beginning to annoy when there is 100k+ gold, tons of utility stuff which almost never gets consumed like scrolls and potions and stilll mivsan is looting every single house for another 7 gold or a potion he won;t ever use
