I can't believe I wasn't subbed, what a freeloader right here. Enjoying beautiful art with no loyalty. x'D Anyways, it's a bit difficult to explain why but I know hands down **this is my favorite** because while I adore any art my friends make, something about this one just screamed "YES" to me, when I first saw it? I think it's just because I love the creepy element. The stunning eye glow with the dark blue and purple hues contrasting with their back and grey scales. (Actually, it might be because it's also my favorite colors/pallet?) Something about them also just seem so cute to me, with their stubby little nose, and I remember obsessing over it for a solid 48 hours, going back to glance at it again and again. I can't even remember what conversation we had around it, but I do remember you saying something along the lines of "If you like it so much, you can have it." since it was just a random Dragon you made. Since then I've based a mutated newt like monster creature in my book after it's little face, and I love to think they sit in shallow waters under rocks and stuff like an evil eel with tiny little legs that will stare at you for intense long periods as depicted in this art piece, if you mistakenly lift their rock, before launching and trying to tear off your face. I just love this cute and creepy little snoot of a guy so much. They don't need a whole lot going on in the background (if anything), their face says it all, and that's why they're my favorite. Just because I inexplicably love them.
