how does it even work and how did your friend get in?
from my understanding, mingenet works by connecting all players playing the map through a database. the reason me and my friend were able to see eachother was because the event had happened when we both were playing. if you want a better understanding of it i suggest you watch "The Creepy Mystery of construct_13_beta" by Richter Overtime

you automatically become one, for other people you're a mingebag during that event

it does it by itself if youre in a server with wifi connected, but you have to have gm_construct 13 beta installed

@@caoistico669 singleplayer servers work, but you have to be connected to the internet
to explain whats happening here, the mingebag addon allows your game to connect to a server list called "MingeNet" (dont google that please) and also allows mingebags playermodels to appear in your singleplayer or multiplayer game, the servers arent so good so thats why other mingebags lag a lot
Played this map with a friend, we could never find out if they were players or bots.

how did you even turn into a mingebag? I tried to host 2 instances of lan servers in gmod, and it didn't turn me into a mingebag... Please explain.
it was most likely because it was a LAN server, as far as i know turning into a mingebag is completely up to rng and everybody who is on the map across all servers during that event is turned in to one. my best bet is that you didn't turn into a mingebag because the LAN server prevented access to the webhooks that turned ppl into minges and prevented the online event from happening in the first place
