The 800 is brutal keep up the good work
Awesome video! High-quality 🔥
I understand ur frustration with that mile but dude…it’s not even outdoor!!! You haven’t clearly peaked!!! Just focus and keep grinding, that sub 5 will come quicker than you expect
@@JohnnyRunsForFun thanks man I appreciate that, definitely something to keep in mind
@ I started sports in as a freshman and my first sport was cross country!!! I ran 31 mins for my first meet but seeing my older teammates that ran in 17s influenced me to push myself harder than ever without getting injured. I went from running 20+ min 5ks as a freshman to running a 17 lows as a senior, and I could proudly say I’ve accomplished my goals I also broke 5 my first meet after the off season coming off my junior year of cross country!! And these those times didn’t come easy. It comes from doing the small things things right in ur training and taking ur rest days seriously, could be a major game changer in u running faster times. I’m currently running 40 miles a week rn before track season, and I know that my hard work would show off and it will for you too… I’m currently a senior and I’m guessing ur a sophomore/junior so you got time to take granted. Because I wish I started so much earlier in my running career because I love the sport so much!!! Oh and yea I’m committed to a college so the grind isn’t done yet after track
@@JohnnyRunsForFun let’s gooo dude, that’s awesome! I’m a sophomore, so yeah I still definitely have time to improve
3rd lap is so hard. I always fall asleep then as well 😕

@ke_running it's the least I can do I appreciate the effort and commitment you put into your channel
Bro did not run today😹
@@ke_running_fan_page it was my rest day😒
is your goal to make states for indoor or outdoor?
@@mrpew8133 well currently it’s indoor but with the way our relay is looking that may not be super likely, the goal for outdoor is to make it to at least regionals, I may keep the series name though because it sounds good
@ aight then cuz it looks like you do a lot of “easy” workouts, try to amplify it once a week and really push, that’s how you gonna get better fr. Unless at school yall do that then you should be fine and just make sure to stay healthy.
@ right now I’m doing 2 hard workout efforts and 4 easy/recovery days during a normal training week lol
@ke_runningOoooooo bro called you out🙀
Okkkkkk😴
Keep it up bro i have the same goal as u, im a freshman at naperville central and i ran 2:14 last year with almost no training, and i ran 16:31 as my pr for xc this year. Since xc ended i have been grinding super hard everyday and today i had to find a shovel at my school and i shoveled part of the track so i could get my workout in in the cold, gl w ur goal ima be grinding too
@@Runningboi91 ayeee yessir bro I love to hear it🫡 keep it going dude I appreciate the support
