Hello, I’m wondering if it is possible to add additional moves to the FIS, for custom sequences that someone can use to their liking. The reason for additional moves is so that the combos can be extended, The FIS is fine as it is, I’m just the type of person who enjoys experimenting. There is a game that I’ve had the pleasure in customizing the character’s moves, I’ve used Cheat Engine before to change sequences, maybe Cheat Engine can be used or something else that is required.
We plan on eventually releasing documentation on the in's-and-out's of the way combo routes work in the combo XML file of Sonic Unleashed, so until then I'd say keep an eye out for that! - ini

No-the slow-mo effect is not exclusive to FIS and would have to be a hard change to the game itself. We'll see what we can do, however I recommend asking any future questions on the GameBanana page itself (link in the description) - ini
@Cooliniau Adendum: There is a parameter that does determine the slowmo within combos. We can adjust it, though the slowmo would be useful for players who want to execute certain moves that are a little too fast.

How does this work?
From my Twitter thread... *Post 1:* "Foreign Input System (FIS) is about letting you switch in-and-out between specific combo pairs. There are Inverse Combo Pairs (ICPs) & Reverse Combo Pairs (RCPs). Example: XYY and YXX is an ICP. Therefore, foreign inputs (FIs) such as XY[X] & YX[Y] are possible. - ini" *Post 2:* "An example of an RCP would be XX-YYY & YYY-XX. The FI combos for the 1st combo are... - XX-Y[XX] - XX-Y[X]Y - XX-YY[X] But, the FI combo for the 2nd combo is only... - YYY-X[Y] This is b/c "YYY-Y" & "YYY-YY" already exist as their own combos. - ini" *Post 3:* "While we saw this as a downside to having RCPs as the main source of FI combos-a 3:1 ratio of FICs for RCPs compared to the 2:2 ratio for ICPs, they provide an additional combo that isn't possible with ICPs. If you haven't done this, you need to edit each .bat file (Right-click > Edit) and place the directories of ffmpeg.exe and gifski.exe *inside* the quotation marks, where the template directories are. - ini
