Indeed. Something that is in their way. Funny how certain motorists will happily sit in a queue caused by other motorists. But one sight of a cyclist and they lose it.

I would say that most cyclists are drivers too, so will pay VED. The 'road tax' comment is always interesting because anyone who pays any form of tax in this country, even if they don't own a vehicle or pay VED, is paying into the pot of general taxation that roads are funded from. VED (what people often call 'road tax') is based on emissions anyway. Therefore, as a cyclist, you are classed as zero emissions, so wouldn't pay VED even if it was applied to cyclists. There are zero VED vehicles on the road. I bet she doesn't shout at the drivers of them vehicles.

Absolutely. I had the usual 'we will take action, but we won't tell you what action' response from Lincolnshire Police.

Yes and if I recall correctly, yes again. Lincolnshire police do not tell you how they respond though. You just get a standard letter stating they will take action.

@@StupidDriversOfSouthLinc-oj4uv My police force Greater Manchester police let me know only if they intend to prosecute because if they might want me to be in court but I never been asked to attened a court hearing but other wise I don't hear from them

When submitting to Lincs Police Op Snap, you either get a 'thanks, but no crime has been commited' response, or a 'thanks, we will take action' response. The take action response lists either warning letter, course, points or court. But, you never know which. You do have to state you will attend court if required. I've been reporting these issues for a good few years now and have never been asked to attend court. However, Lincs police only prosecute a tiny amount of the drivers. Most of them seem to get warning letters.

You really are a very sad person! In common with a lot of cyclists you try your best to provoke motorists to enable you to send vids of the misdemeanour. Unfortunately for you the police are not as dumb as many cyclists. You dope!
