No wonder Sting stopped playing with Andy and Stewart. They're more interesting to listen to than him. I like Sting, but it's clear that Andy and Stewart are more talented. With a few exceptions, Sting is just bland by himself. His ego is massive.

Copeland es uno de los genios máximos en la batería, pero lo que odio de él, es que me gusta más escucharlo en estudio, porque en vivo, no hace lo que hizo en el estudio, y los fans estamos esperando para hacer el air drumming jajaja o batería imaginaria, y no toca parecido en nada los famosísimos remates en varias canciones como Driving to tears, o Wrapped around your fingers y varias más, por eso me gusta escuchar las grabaciones de The Police y no tanto los shows, en cambio Sting solista en vivo suena mejor que en estudio, sobre todo cuando tocó con el genio máximo de Vinnie, ese es un número uno

I am watching this on 12th of September, 2024. Exactly 31 years since it was recorded. I’m a young guy, as long as I live I will always play the Ventures. My kids will listen to the Ventures, and so will my grandkids. I will live to see the 100th anniversary of these great songs, and I will celebrate it with my family and have a listening day to appreciate their music and these great guys. The Ventures will never die!!!!!!!

ワイルドさが格好いい！ヤワじゃない男らしさが最高じゃん。 初めて見たけど強烈だね。

長い間、このメロディーと「モンキーマン」というフレーズが記憶にありながら曲名がわかりませんでした。メロディ検索でも出てこないし、西遊記のテーマかとも思っていましたが、やっとここにたどりつきました。ただ、このドラマ「猿飛佐助」、いまいち見た記憶がない･･･。でも、Wikiによると「西遊記Ⅱ」の後番組ということなので、やはり見ていたのかもしれない･･･。

当時､レコードを擦りきれる程聴きまくっていました｡ジャケ写でしか拝見したことがなかったので､生歌とご本人の姿を初めて拝見できて大感激で､とても嬉しいです♪どうもありがとうございます｡

I've been in that club thousands of time and a drummer of 12 yrs back then got to know the drummer and the band really good after being stationed on Okinawa for 4 yrs. So I sat in with the band on drums many times. Of course every Marine loved Marie and so did I. She could sing rock songs all night driving those drunk Marines into a frenzy. This video is almost 50 yrs old and I remember it like it was yesterday. My best memories in life was on Okinawa.🤿 🎵

Was having a repair done on my house. Took the guys out for lunch and my car CD was playing Walk Don't Run. These three young guys asked who is that? Its Great! I proudly said - The Ventures.

有名な「人間トーテムポール」はこの時のメンバーではないと思います。ベースのエディさんを土台に肩車でカッチャンさん、その上にシンキさん。ドラムのエツさんをエディさんがだっこする４人体制でした。78年頃にコザのライブハウスで見ました。音が出てるのはギターだけになります。この動画ではベースがエディさんではないのではと思います。エツさんはチビさんと同時に在籍したり交代に活動（紫と掛け持ち）したりしてたと思います。体重的にはシンキさんとエツさんが軽くエディさんはヘビー級でした。この動画のチビさんは筋肉がすごいのでカッチャンさんがかなりキツそうです。ライブハウスの高くはない天井や壁があるところでは３段肩車も安心して見てましたが、野外ステージでは怖いですね。
