Thank you for this. We are planning on moving to the area and LOVE Sienna and have been looking at all the info we can find. Do you know how much longer they will be building homes? We may still be 1 1/2 or 2 years away but are really hoping to buy new (probably either 70' or 80' lots).

I noticed this on real estate memes and left the group. It is nonstop spam of these companies pretending to be agents and then sharing these lead platforms.

I live directly in front of the woods, for a while I would hear drumming coming directly from it. Anyone know what that is??

I've seen the same thing. Click bait and sometimes offensive style posts with comments pointing toward 3 main "lead gen" websites/products. I've done my own research on some of the profiles and often found the people suggesting the people don't seem to exist as agents. Most every agent (even the ones not trying) can be found somewhere through a simple Google search and many of the profiles I've suspected are a big void of information. I run a local group with over 17k members and personally review every application. With that experience I've been able to get pretty good at identifying scam/fake profiles. I've even discovered fake profiles in the suggested people I may know in my feed. Personally, I've started blocking fake profiles. They don't add value and only consume bandwidth I'd rather use on connecting with real people or learning new things. If a profile (and FB group) is posting click bait theres a high liklihood something more nefarious is going on. Scammers have found touching nerves and offending people can be a great way to boost interaction and then inject scam products once emotions are heightened. Then they take advantage of many agents chasing a shiny new toy who have forgotten what pushed this product in front of their eyes. Thank you for these updates! We always appreciate them. It’s underwhelming to hear that it’s going to be a lap pool at the Sienna Oaks Recreation Complex. Especially when all the other lap pools always look empty but the pools with slides and other kid areas are packed. Everyone I’ve talked to is bummed to hear it’s a lap pool. Do you know who we could voice our concerns to? The HOA? The developer?

I am from Australia and dont really understand all your Taxes. Is this just when you buy the house or yearly amounts you have to pay? In Australia we only pay Shire fees each year which usually range from $1500 (house worth less than $300000) to about $10000 (for a house worth over $5000000) This doesn't change much over the years average RATES cost about $3000 and if on a pension you can get 50% off. If i bought a house in America for about $500000 how much do i need a year to keep that house?

A HEB at waters lake and sienna parkway bad traffic combined with ridge point high school traffic More better at FM 521 and sienna Parkway will be better to put the HEB and it gives the community a great entrance at sienna pkwy at 521

When are the 521 retail stores going to start construction? Also, when are the next 80’ lots going to be available to build (Serene Shore in Summerhouse Lake). I’m considering building a house in Sienna by the end 2024 or 2025

If they put roundabouts at every intersection along Sienna Parkway instead of lights, they wouldn't need 6 lanes. The only intersection during rush hours that does not have lines is Sienna Parkway and Mount Logan, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out why. Instead, we will have a minimum of 4 years chaos and inconvenience, all while destroying the current tree lined median. And at what expense? Unbelievable.

Thanks for the video! I recently moved from Pearland to "new" Sienna. Like many others, I do wish Sienna offered some type of a retail experience. Getting a gas station involves me hoping on to 521 and filling up in Rosharon. I REALLY hope we get the HEB or some sort of retail experience on that long stretch heading to 521. I'm not looking for a town center or anything, but a Starbucks or something along those lines would be a good start. Lastly, I did see a SIENNA VILLAGE MARKET UPSCALE STORE WITH FUEL sign pop up 4-6 months ago and suddenly disappear. It was off Sienna Parkway near Donald Leonetti Elementary. The company was Trustwise Equity. After a deep search on my part, I found the site and it looks like a completely undone site with filler text. I was surprised since they had a massive billboard up advertising it. I was really looking forward to it. Looking forward to your update in December.

Question for do you know how much longer they will be building in Sienna? I love the community but I am about 2-3 years out on buying again.

I have lived in SIENNA for 20 plus years. I am perturbed about the annexation by Missouri City. I am perplexed at the lack of retention-ponds, considering half the streets in the subdivision was 4 feet under water after the big flood, several years ago. Fortunately, only a few homes had a lot of water in them way back at the back of Sawmill Lake, on the west side closest to the levee.

Sienna Plantation used to be a good place to live, but now they're moving all the garbage we moved out here to get away from.

From the Rosenberg Today Facebook page yesterday: Signs are up at Boothline and Ricefield road. Austin Point coming 2025! This is a 25 year project to build 14,000 homes. When completed, more people will live here than the current population of Rosenberg. It will be similar to Cinco Ranch.

I go there every day in summers only tho
